88 rx-7 stalling problem
I have a problem with a 88 2nd gen 6 port rx-7, the engine has been freshened up with new seals, the problem is that it starts right away but the idle speed is to high(2600 rpms) and after a few seconds(30 seconds or more) it starts falling down on the rpms till it stalls. any ideas of what could be causing this problem, aside from this the engine works fine accelerating all the way to redline with no problems,

Robert, what do you recomend fuel pressure should be at idle? I have mine set at 5psi and noticed that sometimes it drops after the engine is warmed up. My vac/boost source is tapped on my carb hat as you know.
Thanks, Ed

have you tried taking the vac signal from the intake manifold? 5 psi is good fuel pressure for idle ed...

oh, on another note, i can have any size venturi made for your weber, just let me know ....
I am wanting to know if you think it would be wise to drill and tap my front cover on my 83 GSL while it's still in the car. I really don't want to have to pull the oil pan and front cover if I don't have to. I have 90% of my 12AT mocked up, and this is what I'm coming down to. Thanks.

i have an 85 GSL, i am trying to identify and replace the fuel pump cut relay.
Can you tell me how to identify this relay. I understand that it is under the dash above the break peddle or kind of behind the speedometer and tack. I have gotten up under the dash and seen the wireing and relays but not sure exactly which one to remove. I was also told that I needed to pull the steering wheel out to get to it, but I am not sure if this is the best way to get to it? I called the Mazda dealership and they can order the part, $70, so I want to test it to make sure ths is my problem before ordering the relay. any help would be appreciated.
thanks
jef
Friends i got a question.
I am looking for years to find a original mazda R100 overrev switch to trigger the overrev buzzer behind the dash.
My question is: is there a other kind off device from any car i can use to make my buzzer work again ?
Maury.

Hey, guys quick question for ya. I am racing a 1979 rx7, with an 85 13b running dual weber 32's. Works quite well, but here is the rub, weber 32's, at least the ones I am using don't have a vacuum port to run to the vacuum advance. Any ideas? Loosing a lot of HP not running the advance.
Robert, I saw the 89-91 turbo manifolds that you sell on your website, and I was wondering how big you port the internal wastegate.
How effective is it at stopping boost creep at ~6PSi?
Also, do you have any S5 turbos in really good condition?

what turbo to buy
i have a 1986 on its 3rd motor its only got 25,000 on it as of now transmittion as well so if it is a non turbo what parts will be needed to upgrade to turbo and which turbo?
i have a 1988 gtu NA 13b and i was wondering what are the best possible hp and torque gains are for the money without resorting to a 13bt engine swap ( that's in the future sometime, when i have the money to spend to do it right)
