Ran the motor again this Saturday and did some light passes down the industrial street next to my work to try and break the engine in alittle more. Motor fires right up and runs great. Going to Irwindale 1/8th mile track this Thursday to make some light test passes and tunning. I'll try and get some video.

Ok heads up guys the event is not the 8th it is the 16th.
Fontana site states the 8th but it is incorrect as there is a redline time attack that weekend

I spoke with dsport in regards to this because no where else can I find info on the event no flyers no post nada but dsport works with idrc so it's the best info I can get. So you ladies have a extra week to get your Briggs and stratons ready

Yeah right, this is just a ploy to try and get all the rotary guys not to show up on race day because you piston boys are scared.

 

so i guess we will be racing all 2 of you.......hopefully we can get our car off the jack stands (whatever that means)...you guys are killing me with this stuff.. our car has been to the track many times...we went 8s on our "practice motor" trying to get licensed....also on a t3 gt35r try that on a rotary...now we are moving up to a to4 frame and yes we blew the practice motor now its time to race..hopefully it wont be the same corolla that has been racing and i think the black rx2 shows up sometimes....hopefully the yellow rx3 will figure out how to tune on e85....anyway all in fun we will see you on the 16th....

 

Hey don't forget the blue stock chassis RX3 on leaf springs with small tire that ran mid 8's. Aren't you tubbed with a full 4 link suspension? It's ok, we don't mind, you can run whatever you wan't.

we havent forgot about the rx3 on leafs why is his the only one that runs when it does...his choice to run on leafs not mine...what a dumb argument we can go all day about whos faster and whos not ..bring the 12a to the track ...

 

We have no problem doing a little street racing . Come to our side of town and we can race on 135th and main for whatever amount of cash you can put together. No valley racing here! Put your money where your mouth is and let's do something.

I'm back. I just got a personal call that 510 said I got quiet from the forum ever since they posted.

First of all I didn't open a can of worm. I was merely stating a fact. I was just trying to inform your santiti that the grn 510 blew up on the dyno. Thats a FACT and NOT SMACK.

second of all, I didn't say I was a Guru on tuning on e85, remember you said my car was detonating all the way to the final 4 of the race in IDRC. So don't hate. If it wasn't to erick's honda me and Santo would have been the one to line up.

But its all good I like a good challenge. a so called 8.?? car that couldn't back up the time,that to me is a good challenge. I guess that is why you tried so hard to make the methanol and 35lbs of boost work that led to the engine blowing. So you can back up the 8 sec run. Until you back it up its not a final 8 second run yet. Its just a mere/fluke 8. I guess you guys are the guru tuner... LOL

At least my car detonated all the way to the LA INVASION RACE. Which you guys are??? Where?? I guess I should be the one upset. LOL

Oh and this is done with an OEM 13b, OEM mazda tranny and a leaf with the wheel on the air.

Not like your race motor sr20 with sleeve,girdle and all that junk.

To make it interesting, put a OEM sr20 transmission on your back half car so you can break me off. Oh and use a standard legal 26 inch tire not 28 inch diameter. Cause that would be cheating. lol Practice on the lights boy.

 

Oh James thanks for offering the rotor housing for me to use. But no need to. I will be using the one that got messed up in the exhaust. So, no one would say I have to get help from you,or anyone.
