it's true, GS-R powered Civic Hatchback Turbo hits 12.99 with slicks and no exhaust, that's .8 sec faster with that setup, usually, to get fast you need more money on hondas than RX-7s, my RX-7 did a 13.98 with exhaust and few mods, under 500$$ try getting those times with a Honda, the only honda i lost to is my friend's 10 sec civic which is FAR FAR MORE MONEY than me.

anyone wanna host a vid of my friends civic? he ran his car on april5th/6th in sacramento raceway.

Can't wait to get back so I can check out the new car, Rutt. BTW, do you think you can find me a nardi horn button. I got Foster's old nardi from his FD but its impossible to find the horn button here. Little things that I use to take for granted back in Oki are now biting me in the *** because I can't find squat out here. I'll be starting on my n/a 12A Bridgeport here within a month since I'm back in the states but when I get back there to visit I wanna see about picking up a juusanBEE to bring back.

As said before.....it all depends on how much $$$ is being spent on the car.......bacause i know of a few hondas down here that will shock the **** out of a lot of people. I witnessed a honda civic walk a suzuki 1000 couple weeks ago....yes i said it correctly it not a typo. It also ran real close with a modded Porsche. So becareful what you run into you never what to expect, with the exception of the very obvious ricers.

All of my friends will lose the money battle too because my setup cost me 1/3 of the normal price that most Honda guys would spend. I think I have mastered the art of finding good deals.

This is what will go in the car after the rollcage and seat are installed next week:

70mm Jerk Racing DP
76mm Jerk Racing exhaust
SARD 720cc injectors
Walbro GSS342 pump
Aeromative FPR
T04S/T3 AR.82 with stage 5 blade
Nippon denso 3 bar map sensor
Hondata S200 ECU tuned for 14psi
SS Works big brake kit
4.785 final drive

That guy obvious had traction and driving skill problems. I have lots of friends in the US with run low to mid 11's with 450whp. Of course they use slicks and posses driving skills but that's another topic.

Hey, um, Rutt, I checked out that black J-spec integra of yours on that web site, well........ is that the one that beats GT-R's, Supras, ect, or was that just a beater? I thought that when you said that the teg you wanted me to come to Japan to ride in had "nice POWAAA." Now, most people like to over rate their estimated power, which I am NOT accusing you of, but the sig thingy said it had less than 300hp(can't remember the exact numbers). Now come on, I'm sure its a fun ride with enough power to pull on stock Supra's and GT-R's from a roll, but......... how can I put this without comming off as a dick head......... a GT-R would rape you off the line. Now if you wanna give me a ride in a car with "nice POWAAA," then you will definitly have to do better than that. I'm not too sure if you like V8's, but I'm gonna say this anyway; I have ridden in a pro-street '72 Nova with about 970ish hp with DOT slicks, a '69 Yenko Camaro SS/RS 427 w/ a 100 shot of ZEX(I think it was ZEX), and to show you it isn't a domestic vs. import thing, I've ridden in a BAD *** '94 Supra Twin Turbo with about 650 hp. Also, I know my N/A FC is slow compared to your teg, but I have gotten a 13.83 on slicks before. But if that black teg ain't the one you were talking about with the "nice POWAAA," then please forgive me for my really long post.

P.S. I'm not hatin, just keepin it real.

Can the twins really put out that much? Holy crap.

And I assure you that a sub 300hp honda can suprise the **** out of you... Gutted they weigh next to nothing.. But I'll leave that up to Rutt to prove.

Actually, I thought his car put down WAAAY more than that...

I don't know if its his fast one or not, after all I don't know him. But like I said, I'm not trying to come across as a ***** or player hater, but I'm just curious. Like I said, Rutt, I'm just clarifying, its not an attack on you.

as long RUTT can lay it down, it doesn't matter if you got 600hp or even 1500HP on a street car, if your **** can't lay it down to the pavement your car aint ****.

300-400-500-600hp to whatever, most supras are dyno queens, can't lay **** down! only on a roll.. some can though! but i see at the tracks most run 12s-11s! it's possible to pump a honda to 400hp and if you get good tires springs etc. and runs 10s cuz my friend did. you can lay some good numbers for a front wheel drive. I don't like front wheel drive but u can get good numbers out of it, but nothing beats 500hp+ cars on rolls or well equipt with good traction!

get traction bars RUTT!

rotaries and rearwheel still owns.

I guess somebody was too busy pretending to a DICK and missed the part where I said I have been beaten by many GTR's and I have also embarassed quite a few GTR's, Supras, FD's, FC's, EVO's, Imprezzas along everything else out there. Hell, JSPEC's FD had no problem spanking GTR's before he went single and I beat him. Ateast Van, Jspec, was humble enough to humor you guys with a thread and video about the event. At my last 1/8 mile race my times were faster than 3/4's of the cars GTR class. My car is not the super duper fwd fighter that you are blowing it up to be and it is nowhere near it's full potential. Eventhough I love GTR's most of them are either overweight sticker tunes used to pick up "crazy chickenheads" or over-tuned monsters that can't get traction if you weld/glue/metamorph them to the track. Hell, when Igy had his NA CRX SiR back in '96 he pissed off quite a few GTR's and RWD pimps. Chris, Dragon, had no problems beating GTR's in his boosted ZC CRX. Yes, I am the only fool who is still slummin' around in a Honda!!

Power to weight ratio is bitch!!!

V8's... I have owned several 400~600whp cars so don't mistake me for a silly ricer who just fell out of the baby crib. My first vehicle was a '54 Ford with a T-Bird subframe, 351C with Aussie heads built by one of my pops racing buddies, hooker headers, toploader 4 speed, 9" rear with 4.88 gears rolling on Cragar SS's. From there I went to a 396 Chevelle, 454 Monte Carlo SS, Tempest with a 421, Opel GT with a Weind 6-71 Blown 355 mated to a muncie 4 speed and Dana 60 rearend, '74 SD 455 TA, '78 TA with a custom grind Comp Cams bumpstick and RA IV heads(still own it eventhough I have been in Japan for 10 years), blah blah blah. I love anything with a motor (except Citroens, SAAB's, Pacers, Gremlins and Cop cars with the lights flashing behind me). The best car that I ever owned was '70 Ford LTD that my grandparents gave to me. This car was the sleeper from hell. Me and my cousin added a set of no name headers, header muffler and a set of cherry bombs for a deep cackle, 650 Holley from a previous project with a Weind intake, 292 cam with .610" lift, Gasket matched head with Comp cams running gear, swapped in a 4.11 gearset, added a TCI valve body kit and 3500 stall converter to the tranny, and a bunch of other knick knacks. We never took this car to the track because we were having way to much fun beating people at the "cash" runs.

Eventually I will end up with a rotor motor because I have only had 50 billions chances to own one. Yes, you are being a ***** but I can understand it since I am a Honda owner on a Rotor Forum. You need to understand that I am in Japan and beating a GTR with a correctly setup fwd car is as common as seeing a riced out Honda cruising with Altezza's and 39"(so I exaggerated a bit) rims in the US. Just to make you feel bad..... my first kill with the boosted hamster was a side ported T04E FC with a FMIC How do I know all of this? I had to race him at my first 150m event and beat him by moon lengths. The guy was cool and we swapped tuning stories between runs. His turbo ( AR.50 42T with an O trim AR.58) was too small for the port and his fuel setup was crap. I told him to ditch the piston engine turbo and get atleast a 57 trim AR.60 with a P trim AR.84.

Hey, thats cool Rutt, but like I said, I was just wondering. And you are right, power to weight ratio does indeed make all of the difference in a race. I guess I shoulda thought about that before I wrote that down. I got to thinkin this weekend and I see that there is no reason on Teg done up really good with a good suspension set up won't own a GT-R. I was just trying to clear things up, ya know. I'm seriously sorry.

P.S. I really wasn't trying to be a *****.

i had a 92 hatchback cx. the motor was a all stock 1.6 sohc with an apexi turbo kit on it, awesome street turbo, just a lil bigger than one of the stock twins turbos on a fd, along with this new cpu(hondata) traction bars, and clutch

with the right tuning and drag radials i ran a 12.45 in the 1/4

dynoed at 268 hp 251 tq

it ran it with no problems for about 2 years starting in the beggining with boost at starting at 6 then 10, then 14, then 18, 20 then finally at around 22 psi, at 22 psi it lasted for about 3 months when i finally snapped a stock rod

total cost of my setup was about $6000

i could of purchases a complete motor for $200 and thrown it in, but i decided it was time to learn about something new so now i have a fd, i still miss the hatch as it took so much abuse, and i wasnt worried about blowing the motor since it was so cheap
