Rob is doing firefighter school and I'm in RN school.
The project is on hold again, we have a race in Rob's car the first weekend in June and we have some regular maintenance we need to get done before the race. But do not fret we will be back on track after the race.

I would love to see 2100lbs w/o driver but reality will be more like 22-2300lbs. I've heard of some guys making low 400's to the rear wheels, I'd be happy with that.

The man in BROWN
Brown delivers!
They just came back from Stimola Engineering, Joe Stimola has been around for many many years and has always been known as THE authority in shock technology. My buddy Louie gave me the two rears and I was able to source the fronts at a really good deal. Joe completely went through them and installed the proper pistons and valve stacks. All I need to fab now are the upper mounts(as you can see I've already got one done), as you can see the body caps for the rears is a clevis style that will fit the rear upper control mount (I was introduced to these caps by a fellow rx7club member who works at Penske, thanks Matt!)

Nice project you're doing here..
Gonna be fun to see how the car performs at the track when finished.
But some thoughts about your tranny. You think 4 speeds will be enough for a N/A 20b?
I'm running a 5 speed box for my 20b turbo, and still missing the last gear to be able to hold the right rpm's all over the track. But I'm running at tracks with very variable speeds though, from 50 km/h up to 200 km/h..
Just some thoughts i got when i saw your tranny.
But anyway, youre doing som nice job on your car, and I'm sure its gonna be good when youre done.

Answer: YES at least I hope! All joking aside, we're running the same tranny on Rob's car and the results are great. We did alot of research before ordering the ratios for the tranny. The ratios going in mine will be a little different in an attempt to perfect the ratios. Also keep in mind we run a different ring and pinion 5.14 for the long track and 6.14 for the short track. Rob's running a 13b, we figure we'll use somewhere in the neighborhood of 5.14 for the short track and probably 4.11-4.56 for the long track with the 20b

what you see in the pic is 3k, plus the wait time (usually not in stock) you need to add the cost of the p/u tubes the pressure regulator and of course the $20 o-rings for the p/u tubes, (I know, I don't believe it either).

Well Rob and I finally started working on the racecar again, here you can see we started on the drybreak fueling setup as well as the surge tank
We should have the drybreak setup finished next week.
