Hey guys I been looking around and found a pretty good website with what I think is a base map...not sure http://westpenn.rx-7.org/ApexiPFCpinout.htm (map is on the bottom of the page) Anyways can someone verify if this is what I need? I am getting it put on tomorrow so just need to get a base map that will just get the car started up because after I get it installed I am getting it tuned by steve kan. There seems to be one sheet under StockPFC I ahve no clue when it comes to maps so was wondering if the numbers in red are something extra or just stock? Sorry for sounding like a newbie but just horribel with electronics. And despearte to get the car running with the upgraded ecu so i can take it to steve. Oh FD by the way.

If I were you, I would just run on the base map that is included with the Power FC until you have it tuned. Just don't get it into boost in the mean time. How far out from tuning with Steve are you? Isn't the cali group tune this weekend?

 

yes its tomorrow..well today (friday)..thats what I am asking for just a bse map so i can make it to the tunnign session. The power fc came blank

 

Hey thnx for the help xblazin, i've seen that site before..i clicked on base map and it shows a few..what does INJ, IGL, and IGT mean

 

uh.... the ignition and fuel maps IGL leading IGT trailing

 

so why is the map i posted on the first link completly different from these maps...i don't get how it works

 

Do yourself a favor...... don't touch anything.

The power FC is probably not blank, and if it is, just go into the ETC area and reset all data to original. You'll be fine to drive the car there under the original settings, just don't put any boost through it.

 

all brand new power fc's are blank unless u get it from like rx7 store. I'll see what happens when its isntalled thnx for the advice.

 

They are not blank lol.......all new Power FC's come with a base map. If you have a new version, it comes with a base "mod" map setup for a few more mods than the other versions do.

xblazin is right it does come with a map, I was told by several mechanics that it did not...last time i go to them! thnx for the help guys
