On the FC pan or the FD pan? The FD pan is a true black wrinkle powdercoating while the FC pan just isn't quite as glossy black as it was before (required too much prep). I will take some pictures when I get the chance.

No problem. I will presume things will get going towards the 1st of October, when the paychecks start rolling in. Again, a $50 non-refundable deposit will count as good as a full-payment towards reaching the GB minimum of three pans (FC for $299+shipping, or FD for $399 plus shipping), and will buy you 60 days to pay off the balance or apply the deposit towards another purchase of $50 or more from us.

The easiest way is Paypal <sales@pineappleracing.com>. You can also buy them through our web site online store: http://www.pineappleracing.com. You can phone us with a Credit Card number (503-233-2878). Or, you can mail us a check or money order (12838-B NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97230).

I have one full payment from Classicautobody and one deposit from SnipeD_RNA. One more and the GB will be back on. I would encourage those that don't have all the money now to make a deposit, so I don't have to hold off shipping the order that is paid for. Once I have the third order or deposit, the paid orders will ship as they are received.

Got it. The GB is now officially on.

(1) Classic Auto Body (FC Pan) -- PAID IN FULL
(2) SnipeD_RNA (FC Pan) -- $50 deposit
(3) FCrocious (FC Pan) -- $50 deposit

I will ship Classic Auto Body's order immediately and any other paid-in-full orders as they come in.

I started a new thread for this GB in our vendor sub-forum, which is where you should go for for the latest developments, though you can certainly post here too.

I just talked to our supplier for the FD pans and the supply is limited until the new batch of pans is ready in a few weeks. Right now, we have three on the shelf. Act fast if you need an FD pan.

As you can see in the picture below, the engine sits nice and level and the pan is neatly tucked up behind the crossmember where is is safe. Predictions of trouble by certain people on this forum were obviously off-base.

I can't tell. Is it on the FC or FD?

That's an FC. You can tell by the center engine mounts.

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture. Just yesterday we had an FD on the lift with one of our pans, but I missed the photo op. I can probably get one in the next week or so. Anyway, the FD pan is not quite so well tucked up in there but it is not really vulnerable unless you completely bottom out the car. If you did that, you'd have more serious concerns. It will make more sense when I take pictures. Stay tuned...

Recap for the new page:

This is GB for both FC and FD aluminum oil pans. Normal retail price on the FC pan is $350 and the FD pan is $425. GB prices are $299 for the FC pan and $399 for the FD pan. Shipping is $20 via FedEx Ground anywhere in the USA. International shipping at cost.

Update on purchases:

(1) Classic Auto Body (FC Pan) -- PAID IN FULL; SHIPPED
(2) SnipeD_RNA (FC Pan) -- $50 deposit
(3) FCrocious (FC Pan) -- $50 deposit
(4) TRISPEEDFD3S (FD Pan) -- PAID IN FULL
(5) stevie1020 (FC Pan) -- PAID IN FULL; SHIPPED
(6) Chris in Gainsville, FL (FC Pan) -- PAID IN FULL; SHIPPED

TRISPEEDFD3S: I'm going to have to drive across town and pick up the remaining FD pans from the supplier. The guy who was going to bring them over is apparently taking a couple days off and no one told us.

Plenty of FC pans in stock.

Yes, a deposit will hold your place for up to 60 days. It is non-refunadable, but if you find you can't swing the money, you can apply the deposit to another purchase from us of $50 or more in the same time-frame (within 60 days of making the deposit).

Shipping to canada would be $27, airmail parcel post. $41 EMS.

Full payments or deposits can be Paypal'd to <sales@pineappleracing.com>, or you can call us with your credit card info (503-233-3878).

Jeff: Okay, I got the FD pan and processed the shipping. FedEx will come get it tomorrow, so you should see it mid-week if not earlier. PM me if you want the tracking number.

Everyone else: I have one other FD (3rd gen) aluminum oil pan in stock and have been promised two more next week. These are the last until the new batch gets finished, so it could be out of stock for a few weeks. If you need an FD aluminum oil pan, call NOW or be prepared to wait. FC (2nd gen) aluminum oil pans are in plentiful supply for the time being.
