9psi and the fuel pump fell off.
So I'm deciding on a pump this week.
This is through the auto trans too

Here's what I'll be going with.

E85 compatible with more than necessary flow rate. I've heard the mt82 can't handle over 450, you might consider the TR-6060.

Yes, but...
That's not the source! It might me legit, but not direct.
Nice turbo. Exhaust looks on the small side.

I'm going to remote mount for a hidden setup(should cancel out the boost lag) and run the piping through a "roll cage", twin liquid-to-air intercoolers in those two compartments behind the seats. Hopefully I'll get 6lbs of boost and 400hp

Well, looks like that pump isn't going to do it for me.

Any particular reason why?

Not any more pump then I already have. I'm sure it deals with the pressure better though.
Plus I'm on e85. So it's good to 450whp for sure. Also, the dyno we use reads low. So, in reality I might already be passing 500whp

Most likely I have to go dual pump.

450 is about the max I want to go on the stock block and valve springs.

Yeah 450 on pump gas and 550 on e85 seems to be happy.
Really I made 389whp on 3.5 lbs of boost. Haha

Oh, and it was enough to blow the tires off in second and third

When does the boost start kicking in? 3400rpm?

Starts like 2 full second after you floor it.
But, the motor it's powerful on it's own. So, it's making power right away.
Not like the rotary that depends on boost to make power.
As torque drops the hp takes over. Look how fast your in torque.
Over 250ftlbs as soon as he floors it

O.k. My pump is awesome! it runs about 400lph @43psi.
I think most of my issue is trying to run it like its a factory mustang and not running it the traditional way of return system.

If I re-plumb my fuel system with the fpr up in the engine bay and not in the rear.
I think pushing through the fpr to get to the engine isn't working for my current
fuel pump. Plus I run a static 55psi with no boost to the FPR to raise pressure to compensate for boost on the other side of the injector. Its not working.
I may just run a "T" at the engine that runs in from pump out to engine and out to return line through the FPR. That way the
only restriction is the "T" , not the FPR. Also if I get the FPR in the engine bay I'll hook the boost reference.

I'll let you know what I decide.

Great info on pumps! This information might change some things.

Fuel Pump Flow Test - 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords Magazine

If I don't get called into work today, I'm going to take this newfound data to Justin and come up with a plan.

I may be able to keep my fuel pump. Otherwise maybe it'll work for one of you for your HP goals. Keep in mind, most of my fuel issue is running E85. It consumes
30% more fuel at WOT.

Honestly I doubt I will ever use E85, in fact I will probably tune on 93 E-free, yeah we have that here.
Not to be a dick but I probably going to copy-cat your fuel system setup when you get the kinks out. I just swapped in a new front main seal today

And Checked on the oil pump filler neck I ordered. I took today off because my legs were cramping hard last night so I'm too dehydrated to work.
I'm gonna spend it drinking water and playing cod.
Edit: fat fingers hit submit too early.

Do you know if the stock 3.7 injectors are peak and hold or percentage based?

So, after researching more, I realize I could have kept my pump.

I have (3) 90 degree bulkheads in my fuel system. One before the pump and two after the pump. This is like adding an additional 12 feet of fuel line to my system!
That's not to mention the 90 out of my fuel tank! so that'll be like 15'

I also recently switched from hard line to rubber hose. The rubber has more resistance and doesn't help

In addition to this my regulator isn't up front so the fuel pump is pushing through it.

Then, I'm not using the boost reference on the FPR. So, as discussed, the boost is fighting the fuel on the other side of the injector.

I know all of this, and did nothing because, I thought proudly, I have this huge fuel pump and it can over come whatever I put in its path.

Well, it should be said that I'm addressing these issues with the new pump.

Now you can see I'm an idiot if I can't make these work.
I guess my problem was that I kept just adding on to the existing system
Instead of engineering one from scratch.
Again live and learn.

Any high impedance injector is saturated, not peak and hold. Peak and hold is very old technology, but almost any car newer than about 1996 is saturated high impedance.

Wanna sell your old pump?
Edit:The pump you have runs $200-250 used, I should save the $ and go with the walboro
