If I re-plumb my fuel system with the fpr up in the engine bay and not in the rear.
I think pushing through the fpr to get to the engine isn't working for my current
fuel pump. Plus I run a static 55psi with no boost to the FPR to raise pressure to compensate for boost on the other side of the injector. Its not working.
I may just run a "T" at the engine that runs in from pump out to engine and out to return line through the FPR. That way the
only restriction is the "T" , not the FPR. Also if I get the FPR in the engine bay I'll hook the boost reference.

I'll let you know what I decide.

Great info on pumps! This information might change some things.

Fuel Pump Flow Test - 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords Magazine

If I don't get called into work today, I'm going to take this newfound data to Justin and come up with a plan.

I may be able to keep my fuel pump. Otherwise maybe it'll work for one of you for your HP goals. Keep in mind, most of my fuel issue is running E85. It consumes
30% more fuel at WOT.
My fuel rail ends at a cap, might remove it and use it as a mould to pour in some molten aluminum and make a cast plug. Drill through the center and a few retaining bolt holes, tap them and finally cut a groove(by hand with a drimel) for an O-ring. Apply your fitting to connect your fpr and go.

So I took a look at my turbo picture again and just realized that I have no coolant inlrt/outlet on the turbo. I'm guessing because it is for a diesel and the exhaust temperature is significantly lower than gasoline engines that it's not required. That just concreted the remote mount idea as it will be the only way to keep it cool. I'm hoping with the exhaust housing size that lag will be minimal. I'll use a 2 stage twin liquid-to-air intercooler system, 1st stage just water and ice, 2nd 50/50coolant and dry ice. I want to have multiple air inlet temp gauges and turbo oil temp & pressure gauges.

Honestly, my 6x4x12"core intercooler kept my iat's the same as my
12x24x3 air to air.
One intercooler is sufficient. Just a lil royal purple ice additive and call it good.I too thought of dual pass intercooler but it's just restriction you adding for little cooling benefit.
Nobody runs water coolant on the aftermarket turbo's anyway.
The only reason I did is cause it's the same turbo I had on my 13b-REW

My fc is Na, plus I already have designed them in my head, lol. The oil cooler setup will probably cost me more than the intercoolers.

Fuel pump was back ordered. So we cancelled the order and bought somewhere else. Should be here soon.
Here's a pic of the lights on the car. Just sharing cause I like how it turned out.
I really wish the detail of the lights would show up in the photos. In person it looks real high end.
I may try a real camera if it still works. haha

Right on.
Oh, by the way, I'm not running an oil cooler.
I will if I start to track it, but it doesn't come on most V6 mustangs anyway. I have reserved a location and air intake for it behind the drivers side fog light though.
It's not needed until you see track time so put that farther down the list and get your car on the road that much faster.

In other news it appears I will end up with Hot Rod Flatz in BMW Alpine white with black trimmings.

In addition I got a 160 degree thermostat. It's lower then I wanted but I don't think it'll matter.
Justin said if its too low we'll swap it for a 170*.

the oil cooler setup is far down the list on stage 2(turbo). Next purchases are going to be flywheel and clutch kit so I can finally mate the engine to the tranny

Perfect!
and rest assured that the factory horsepower levels feel far above what you think it is.
The reason being is the power curve. It's "go now time!" and just keeps pulling.
You might end up happy just where it's at. With intake, exhaust and tune you'll
be at 300whp! and torque close to the same all as soon as you hit the gas.

Ive never driven an FC so the car will be completely new to me. My current DD is a 96 corolla lol so it'll be a significant speed boost with close to the same mpg

Especially with some 3.15 gearing. you'll be over your 30mpg goal. That's what the mustang gets factory.

Yeah speaking of gearing my Na diff is 4.076:1 so my 6th gear max out is 120mph, that'll kill my mpgs. I'm looking into diff swap options right now for the first 8.8. if I put 2.73 gears in it it'll hold up to more power and get 80mph @ around 3k rpms in 6th.
Edit: Na diff with my tranny gear ratios 1st redlines at 19mph.
Edit2: 2.73 moves 1st up to 29mph redline. I can use 1st-5th for city and 6th for highway

Try this.
Enter all your numbers press calculate.
Look right select "At" 7000 RPM and press Auto Shift.
Observe all the shift points and mpg on the speedo.
After, you can drag the rpm and select gear under the gauges to see specific results
