Quick questions for you swappers with 350+hp and the rotards with 350+hp.

Got ac?
Power Steering?
What does the inside of your car smell like?

Now for 500+hp: What kind of gas U runnin?

Question for everyone: When you go to the track, do you pull your ride or drive your ride?

Just a guess, I bet we can tell who has what under the hood by the answers.

Yes, I am a total ***....and have a basement full of rotarys. Its getting old...

400hp LS1
AC, yes
PS, yes
smells fine

500hp can run on 93, I run 89 or 91, whatever is at the gas station.

drive my car to the track

Also, full interior, all stock gauges, and it's my DD.

LS1 swap here with 350hp
- no a/c, shoulda kept it but I was being a dork about weight redux.
- no p/s, shoulda kept the p/s rack for the faster ratio but otherwise I've always hated p/s so I took it out, wanted more clearance between the rack and the oilpan.
- my car smells like a new-car, no gas fumes, no hot engine bay stank, no exhaust fumes either.
- I drive my car daily if its not winter and I drive it to the track, thats half the fun!

lol. I love rotary motors for their amazing engineering but I just dont want to own one.

When Ferrari owners want to go fast they turn to Bob Norwood. And when Bob wants to build the fastest Ferrari he possibly can, he uses a Chevy engine.

What a dumbass!!! he just ripped the soul out of that Ferrari! Completely ruined the handling. Who cares about land speed records when you've got a soul to contend with?? Having enough power to get you airborne... who cares? Ferrari engines are mad fast if you know how to tune them and take care of them. If I saw someone put an engine in a car that it didn't come with from the factory, I would spit in their face. Why would he want to use a push rod engine? This isn't the 50's, ya know...

I would race him and kick his *** with my salt shaker engine. That's right, I'm calling him out. Car is ready... he's not here... he's a *****.

with a good sounding exhaust, you have no idea. I LOVE Mine, and when i show it to my friends, they are simply blown away by the sound of it. once i start getting my interior put together. this is going to be one killer street setup.

Also, there is something so personally satisfying to build up your own car. whether it be ls1 or rotary.

The guys at the exhaust shop thought it was a ported rotary with a big turbo when I pulled up, and this is at an exhaust shop that does primarily drag cars.

thats some funny **** right there...made me laugh.
For me I loved the look of the car, liked how it was unique in so many ways as was the rotary but for me i would have got tired of working on the rotary I bought the car with the rotary, it ran but not real good and I love the car w the ls1 in it and for me I still get the wow factor when i pop the hood....however most of the time I tell em the hood cables broke
ps i dont know how to do double quotes ha

Or you can clike the " button to the right of the QUOTE button. Click all the threads you want to quote, then click the quote button. After that, it's kinda self explanitory.

wow SR20 is actually a damn good motor! My buddy james has one in his 91 S13 Hatch and he is pushing somewhere in the 450-550whp range and has a dog box now that is a fast damn car ( damn dog box and damn td06 20g )

ment to quote the dummy who bashed on the motor lol.
