This reminds me of a person I know who's on his 3rd rotary engine and still swears they are just as reliable....what a joke!

I dont completely hate the rotary but I think we can all agree its a more FRAGILE engine. How many times have you heard of an LS1 blowing up because of a bad tank of gas? When a boosted rotary lets go its typically catastrophic, wiping out seals, rotors, housings, plates, turbo etc.

Both platforms are fun when running in tip top shape but the piston is easily more reliable, gets better gas mileage, builds more torque, and is even emissions friendly.

Well I own a home, how about you? Maybe the reason I couldnt finish a project is because I realized owning a home and having a garage for my cars was the more responsible route. Now I have a 3000 sqft home, two car garage and a V8 Rx7.....yep, looks like I made the right choice.

Well let see, the first one you could not figure out the fuel problem. The second and the third one I can't remember why you sold them. The fourth one you blow a coolant seal and blamed it on the previous owner. When you were the one that broke a hose and still drove it. Then you replaced the engine and sold it because you thought it was cursed or something. Not because you bought a house. The other two does not matter because you are putting a V8 in one of them. So all I see is that you have no excuse why to hate rotarys. As for a house, it must be nice to have your wifes parents give you money. Im in the process of getting a house with my own money not mom and daddys!!!!

Once again you are the master of skewing the facts and creating your own reality. Ill carry on an intelligent conversation with you once you can get beyond 3rd grade grammar. You cant even put a ******* sentence together!!! Your wife is a kindergarten teacher, ask her for some help

Shouldnt you be reparing a forklift rather then playing on the internet?

Whats wrong, did I strike a nerve. Because all that you can do is talk about someones grammer. Dude this is what Im talking about. As soon as you get a v8, you join the band wagon. That ok. Enjoy life .
Rob

Also when you decide finish your v8, look me up. I'll show you what a rotary does to a v8.

WTF is with these two sentences??? People might actually take you seriously if you could put a sentence together.

I would challenge you even if you were here. Oh wait, if you do come down make sure you ask your wife for your ***** back. It seems that is always your excuse why you can't come down.

Redline on an SR20 is 7500, and the overall motor setup is lighter than a 13b-REW.

If you don't know what you are talking about, you probably shouldn't open your mouth to remove all doubt.

1. My car runs
2. Its a friendly race, we've found mutual respect.I can't wait to see his car..its bad-***
3. I have to take it all back apart cuz the steering rack doesn't line up.
4. Don't make assumptions

Dont waste your time snyper, he cant even put a flippin sentence together.

By the way Robert..."Mr I love the Rotary", take the picture of my engine bay off your desktop. When I finished my car I sent him a pic and he called me right away, "dude, that looks awesome, I put the picture as my background for my desktop. Eventually I hope to go LS1."

So dont come in here high and mighty 'blown rotary boy', you would give your left ******** for an LS1 in that pathetic engine bay of yours. For you to think you could actually beat me is hysterical

Im using the Jimlab design made by dynotested. The design is awsome, but the manufacturing is awful. Jimlab sold(i think) his design to a company who then outsourced the production. The subframe fits with some flaw, but the steering rack doesn't come close...which unfort. was the last "to do" on my swap.

fc3s91 damn dude you sure got your panties in a bunch.

what a crybaby. you do sound like a chick, a sourpuss chick.

this thread should be cleaned up there is so much b.s. and personal drama its almost completely worthless. come on guys, I only have a one hour lunch break at work, make these threads worth reading, I want to see facts not peoples biased opinions (some of you sound like whiney little 12 yr olds on a playground) on these commonplace motors, jeez what a bunch of pussies.
