i had searched for 24a's about 10 years ago when I had my last 7 but didnt see any guess 10 years later I should look around before thinking I would be the 1st anymore lol oh well I'll still take one... awesome work man not everyone would just go out and make their own engine.

while your at it might as well build your own rotors

if your thinking about getting anything coated here is idea

http://www.extremeion.com/ carbon raptor is supposed to be smooth as glass very thin and last

that eccentric shaft is a work of art.

just so I understand better, the shaft itself is one piece, but the central piece is only actually machined for two rotors, while the other two eccentrics fit onto it? How do they fit on? I'm guessing this is to reduce torsional loading of the eshaft?

They have a conical fit and a keyway to secure and make sure it doesn't rotate.

I'd imagine that you would have to use the two smaller shafts on the ends for assembly reasons. Can you fit a rotor over everything to get it to the center of the shaft? What about the housing plates? I don't imagine that it would be for balance reasons as the load would still be there, regardless no matter if it was one piece or all 3.

Sooo subscribing to this! When you are done, let us know how much it would cost to purchase one should you be willing to make kits. I'm all for putting a 4 rotor into my FC.

Everyone is starting to get scared, there haven't been any updates in a month!

What rotors are you planning to use, RX-8 high compression rotors?

What type of port are you planning on using?

Whatever port or rotors, he's making history. Not the first but one of the first FEW to make a 4 rotor e-shaft from scratch and not some jank spline-coupled thing but full on legit.

(i would be down to experiment with a spline coupled shaft so nobody take offense to me slightly downtalking it in the grace of the op's master machine work)
