Update:

So I decided to modify the exhaust since it was a pos design thanks to the mechanics in my country, and I have read a lot of good info on this site
on how you should collect your pipes and how to design your exhaust system.

Check the pics and see how the exhaust was collected before and how it is now, I know that there is a big chance that I can still improve the current system as it is now but I know that it is way better than it was before.

Before Pic

I was told that the engine could blow like this due to the back pressure that one of the pipes was producing to the engine since the gases were colliding between themselves???

After Pic

Big update guys.

So I am changing my engine now for a 13b turbo2 , the little 12a was heading more into being a drag/track car that couldnt be driven on the streets/highway due to noise, gears set.

Now I will get more power and be able to play at the track and still enjoy the car on the streets/highways

There is little space on the engine bay now compared to when the 12a was there but it will get sorted out sooner or later

The car is almost ready to hit the streets again so here are a few pictures of the engine and the work so far.

Let me know what u guys think.

Thanks.

Emir-

Great build! i see that you are going to stay fuel injected on the 13b. Are you going to use the stock ecu? if you are, i was wondering how you are going to power (pos and neg) the ecu, i am only asking because im stuck with my rotary project trying to figure out what wires are the ones needed to just turn the rotary on and start.

Thank you, yes I will stay fuel inj on the 13b and for now everything will be stock. As for powering the ecu I will have to go to the shop to check how they are going to do that since I took the car to them and they will handle everything

I will get back to you when I get the car back, hopefully I should get it this week

After reading this thread, I will not be surprised if this car becomes to nuts for the street too! All good any way dude I reckon you'll be able to have a quiet 11-12 sec street car pretty easily.

good job Noferz. But the real question is:

how many times did you swallow and how deep did you go plus other kinky **** to make this TII transplant happen.

You are right Jimbo, the main difference will be the quietness

you are damn right wacky, it was a bit tuff to make this happen having a small engine bay but in the end it got sorted out. We had to use 12a front cover & 13b GSLSE oil pan

I am desperate to hear this thing firing up

Well I got the car back but when we were testing how everything was with the car running, some wires melted and the car is not starting anymore.

Looks like the wires that melted are those that goes to the coils and now those lines need to be wired back again.

Will get some pics later

Thanks guys for all the comments.

A los fiebruses gracias por el apoyo .

There are still some issues with the wiring and the car wont start up...tomorrow we will continue looking for what is wrong that the car wont fire up.

btw does anyone has a complete wiring diagram that shows all the sockets of the ecu and where they should be connected?

Thanks.

Check and recheck your vacums, in 13b engines vacums are a very nifty thing.

Update;

So after all the harness was good, the ECU went bad and I got another one, had a few fuel issues with the car and was flooding badly but sorted that out. Killed a set of sparkplugs lol but that happens, got a set of spark plugs and fired the car.

Went to the dyno and got 192whp @ 12psi , check the video and graph.

There is no BOV on the car right now and have to sort a lot of small things at the moment but it was fun and got a lot more power than what I expected

Tell me what you guys think.

Thanks, no daily driving yet for this car(still need to sort out minor things to make the driving experience comfortable).

Last night we installed the BOV and man this car sounds evil I will make a video of it and I am planning to go back to the dyno and see how many whp the engine is really putting down, on the dyno video there was no BOV at all and the hose where the BOV goes was tapped with a bolt that flew away hard almost killing someone in front of the car

if you see the graph you will notice that the engine stopped making power at 6k rpms because there was no blow off valve and the hose where the blow off goes was tapped with a bolt that flew away, lucky no one was in front of the car or that person would have been to be taken to the hospital with major injuries

So you say 192 is not that much, how many whp should this engine make @ 12psi?????
