Bugeye update
Thanks Bruce. The weather is great and this weekend it's on!!! I finally have all the parts I need to fire it up. So I'm figuring a few weeks to reinstall tranny, motor, and finish up all the electrical. Hopefully I'll be posting a video of that event soon

Final fit
Well I got the motor and tranny back in only to find I couldn't get the starter in. WTF. Back out they came and I channel the frame a little more and back in it went. I wrapped the header and installed it as well. Tomorrow I tackle the intake, carb and dizzy.
Yeah my motor sit lower than a front plate mounted motor. I'm using the under pan mount pad welded to the lower surface of the frame. The pan flange actually sit in between the frame rail. Probably just poor planning on my part, if I would have done some research I would have just mounted it like everyone else, but the good thing is I now have a lower center of gravity. Tranny also sits lower and required that I channel the cross member as well, which turn out well since it lowered the shifter an inch or so.
If I worked on completing the install, I could fire mine up within the month too (just needs exhaust and a waterpump), but seeing how I'd rather do the other engine I have in mind, I'm no longer motivated to keep working on the current setup. I'd rather take the energy and focus on the new engine.

Cooling II
Well I never could get the RX-7 fluidyne Rad to fit without having it cut and welding it, so I got another one. I think this will work. I'll let you know when I get the hood on! Anyone need a RX-7 RAD, I got one.
