Here is an old vid I took last year, I'll try and post new one shortly. I live in the northeast corner of CT but hope to get down south to a VMRC show hopefully I'll see you then!

Taking a licking and still kicking. Running strong but broke this axle during a wheel spinning moment. Only took 15 minutes to replace. Other than that it's running great and like the cold air!

Things are going well and I just reached 2000 miles on the Bugeye. I do have one issue with a leaky shifter boot/grommet. There is a steel bonnet that bolts to the tranny case that somehow seals the shift lever. When I got the tranny only the steel bonnet/ring was there, but I could see where some type of rubber boot or grommet used to be. Does anyone one know where I could get one of these or have a fix for this or knows what it is called. Right now it's leaks tanny oil and is making a mess of things. Thanx

Two things you'll need. The inner 81-95 inner boot and the 81-85 outer boot. But it depends on the year of your tranny. Looks like an 81-85. Transmission

Thanks, I believe the motor and tranny are from a 1986, I'll look around and see what I find for inner and outer boots. I'm painting the car this weekend so I want to tidy this up. I going with a 30% flat speed blue and have been thinking about some stripes. The rally stripes will be vinyl so if it looks sheety I can peel'm off.

Well I got the shifter all sorted, and a few good coats of k-2 high build primer on before it got to cold. Looks like I'll be waiting till spring to paint. In the mean time I'm looking for a few this to keep me busy. Does the big pulley and belt kits provide any benefit other than looking good? The V-belt seems fine, just wondering if a conversion waste of money.

If you want a muffler with stainless packing get a borla xr1 , if not use your existing muffler , order 1lb of course stainless steel wool from mc master carr and re pack it . rockwool will burn out , magna flow uses it in there mufflers and it burns out . the motor looks great ! but side drafts are a top end killer , try a down draft webber and you will see a great improvement in top end power .
