I'm stoked to see how that turns out. I've ALWAYS, since I was a wee babe, loved the look of the louvers, and particularly on the RX-7. I'm very strongly contemplating louvers on my current build.

Over the this last weekend I "Sterlingized" the venturis of one of my Rx-7 Nikki carbs...tedious..

Today, pressure-washed the front piece of the extra FC rear sub-frame I picked up so I could mod it to eliminate the notorious "diff clunk" once and for ALL! + Use it to mock-up for short pinion diff mounts..what u know about 4.77?

Ummm, kinda worried...properly done hood louvers (assuming that's what you mean)
don't use pre-cut slots at all. Love your progress.

Nope, gentleman is doing the louvers in the hood and the fenders whole, punched is the only way I would go, I just cut away the subframe under the skin to make room for the punch die.
Thanks!

New BUR9EQPs all around. Might need to run a step colder after my tune. We'll have to see though. Enjoy the weekend!

Word of mouth I found the guy. He was the rotary guy in the valley for a long time, and kind of cleaned the place out of 7's. Now its hard as hell to find parts He said he has probably crushed 15 of them. You know get what you want off them and move them along kind of thing. He got the Rx5 when he was around 16, had a TII motor in it. He pulled it to put in another car. He had no idea what he had at the time. It had and almost ZERO rust when he got it, and its just been sitting outside sense 93. So now I have a HUGE HUGE project to do. But she is so sexy I couldn't pass it up. I over paid for it at $500... there really maybe just to much rust. But but but but AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH anything can be fixed right? The part that really kind of killed me was he had a Rx3 Wagon too, and let it go for dirt cheap. No idea how rare it was, he had no idea how rare the Rx5 was too when I told him.

Here she is presser washed and cleaned up a bit.

Weld it up and come hit the 5/8ths with me! Need more 7s out there!

Not sure how I would feel about following an FB on the 5/8ths, I can't imagine they are stable sideways, but whatever!
