Helped my dad work on his 83 gsl, hasn't ran in years, in process of 12a to 13b swap. finally got it running, s4 6port block 48dco and rb header. Rebuilt the carb float was tooo high ended up flooding it out with fuel dripping out the carb! Push started it and it sprung to life!

Was having trouble getting it to idle niceley but it felt pretty strong driving it around the block! Got sideways quick enuf haha

No updates yet. We're swapping out the cheap Atkins oil and apex seals for OEM Mazda's tho, so that will be good.

I resoldered the horn/wiper/blinker CPU. My horn relays click now, but the horn doesn't honk. It is time to break out the DVOM this weekend I guess. :P

Replaced a bunch of interior bulbs with LED's. I can see once again at night inside the car! Finally replaced the stupid power steering idler pulley bearing with a fresh Mazda OEM bearing. Silence has returned to the engine bay.

Finished the paint on the engine bay today. So glad it's over. It didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. There are plenty of flaws I could point out and I'm sure everyone else will too. I learned a lot doing this project. But considering it was my first time welding, doing body filler and paint, I can't complain too much. Never again though.

I'm getting my car tuned today as it just got rebuilt and is now bridge ported. And with the weather being cold it doesn't want to start when cold. Also putting in some new HID ballasts

Jdm rhd 1990 fc3s

Finally got to drive the thing after waiting almost a month for the import documents...

Driving RHD in the US is definitely going to take some getting used to but this car is a blast!

Having owned just about every model of FC ever made from 86-91 and 2 FDs, I can't say I've ever had this much fun driving!

Worked on finishing up the vacuum lines only to find the distributor has gone bad. Well, thats what all test are pointing to. Pulled and checked coils, igniters, and replaced wires. Trailing is firing like a cannon, and leading petered out to nothing! Still have to pull the tank, check it out and possibly clean or replace. If it weren't for loving this vehicle, I'd sell it. Money pit...what?! No! Not at all!

Disassembled, cleaned, repaired, reassembled, and installed the rear wiper motor and got that working again.
