Drove her down to Kub's Auto Upholstery in Charlotte to have my Mazdatrix rotor patches sewn on to the corner edge of my new ACC floor mats. They did such a good job with my door panels and racingbeat seat kit I figured they could modify the floor mats for me too.

Put a huge dent in the bottom of my new radiator, tweaked it, cracked the welds and punched some holes in it. Also destroyed the driver side radiator shroud and cracked the fan shroud. All in a fraction of a second. Great day!!! So much for getting her back on the road any time soon.

Stared at the 6 in the driveway and decided to work on 3 of them.

My R1 now has its Teins again.
Project FD now has old suspension with Eibach springs
Mikes FD now has Koni Yellows in the rear with Eibachs.

Still need to work on Aarons car...

painted some of the sheet metal in front of the radiator. figured out where I'm mounting my rokkstar can radiator overflow, or big korean brand tea bottle for ultimate jdm sillyness. Also figured out how I'm going to make my new carb hat for my "ghetto cold air intake", just need to take measurements of the carb opening and find something close enough to fit.

test drive

Today I test drove my freshly rebuilt engine around our block. Everything went well, few leaks detected and solved. Happy touring everyone!

I took the RX to the bracket drags again. I made four passes, 2 time-only, then took a win in 1st round, and a red light 2nd round.... that's racing!

well took the car on its first voyage on the road!, drove allright, definitily needs some tuning on the light throttle low rpm, but felt like it ran strong.
took a few pics of the car, intercooler piping isnt done, so i sort of rigged up the stock ic with some piping i had around, which is why it sticks out past the hood! lol...
