Well i started it up to go get gas and the car just wont stop beeping. i mean it aint like it beeps pauses beeps its like one long continuous beeeeeeeeeeeeep. and i looked under my dash and found the owner b4 me unplugged this switch that goes to the accelerator, its black and all the way up top so the more gas you give it the more it the more it gets pressed in. whats that? i plugged it back in and it didnt help so someone plz help cuz i drive an hour to work and i will die if i have to listen to that.
Most likely the coolant or oil buzzers. Just because there's no warning light, doesn't necessarily mean it's not one of the two. Some of your warning lights might not work in the first place.
Check the oil & coolant levels, and be sure the coolant system has no air in it.
As for the switch you have under the dash on the gas pedal, there's no such switch on a stock car. The only thing connected to the gas pedal is the accelerator cable. So whatever that is, it's aftermarket.

If the key is in the "ON" position, yes. The engine does not have to be running.
You might also want to make sure the coolant level sensor is connected. It's on the top of the radiator in the center & has 1 wire coming out of it.

It could also be an eletrical issue as a result of removing your rear wiper, power steering or a/c. I know when I had a faulty power steering controller, I heard the constant beeping that you are describing. The quick, and jinky way I fixed it was to disconnect the a plug to a breaker box located underneath the dash on the left side of the clutch pedal. Sorry I can't be more specific but it was a while ago, and I don't have access to the car right now.
