fc rx7 turbo????

im in the process of buying an orange rx7 n/a.. does anyone know where i can get a good turbo kit. thanks for any help

Best bet is make ur own kit. i searched for a while tryna find a kit but from what i can tell in my personal experience there isnt any. i could b wrong but im jus givin my opinion.

You'd be much better off buying a Turbo II up front since it will come with the OEM upgraded tranny and limited-slip differential. If you turbo a NA, you will not have the benefit of those upgraded drivetrain components.

well im new to the whole rotary thing and i dont know much about em at all.... im not even sure what a turbo II is.... and could someone tell me what bridgeporting is. i know what street porting is.... thanks

There are no turbo kits available for the NA...yet.

trying to turbo an n/a rx7 is prolly one of the worst ways to get more power unless you have a lot of time/money/expertise on your hands. a whole engine swap is much easier and cheaper because of less customization. though its not 100% plug and play of course, you'll save yourself stress

oh yea, by the time you figure in cost of the swap, and the low resale value of an N/A, you'd be just way better off buying a turbo ii

Thats just what the turbo models of the fc are called, and yeah, if you want a turbo, either just engine swap or find a turbo model. The catch is USUALLY, but not always it goes

N/A=reliability minus power.


Turbo=power minus reliability.
