VA Car running lean when gas pedal isn't pressed

First off my car is a 88 Turbo II. Here are the things I have done to it.
I Rebuilt the engine 1000 miles ago estimate. (this year)
RTEK 2.1, New plugs.

Car is leaning out when I let off the gas or not really pressing it when driving. Just holding it cruising along. At one point this morning I pressed the gas down to the floor practically and the car didn't respond. A couple times before this ride car would stumble a little when I was cruising, but as soon as I give it gas it runs and boosts like a champ. This morning I was in heavy traffic this morning. The car did cut off a couple times as well, but thankfully when I let the clutch go it started again. The car did stop on me a few weeks ago after 180 mile trip going down the rode. The next morning it started back up. The one thing I know is messed up right now is one of the wires that connects to the oil pan broke. I have tried to solder that cable a few times and it doesn't hold up to well.

Any ideas? My brain isn't really working as I write this and I am at work so I can't think of anything else to add at this time.

Thanks,
Shane

Ok this might just be a tuning issue and is not happening now. I swear this car has gremlins. Thread closed...

No..thread Open!

One of my Turbo'd cars would go to 40 on the AFR scale when I took my foot off the gas,but drive at 12.,13 ish..Lower when ya punch it of course.
It had to do with fuel cut to the rear rotor on decel.

if you have a 2.1 rtek you should take some logs of the car driving both normally and when it is acting up.
