Yeah its too hard to buy in Maryland, I gots too much *****! If I fly it will cost more, plus my brother looks to be hooking me up with his 4-runner, which is actually pretty nice. It needs a little work, but thats the type of truck I like......hehe

Hey guys, got a buddy with a 92 Talon for sale. 6k on a rebuilt motor, complete car, runs fine, just the downpipe is cracked. He only wants 900 for it, so if you guys wanna turn a profit or get another turbo car, let me know.

I don't know that I will have time on Sunday. I'll see. Here is one from a spot I re-found last week. I have another spot of Billingsley I want to check out.

 

I picked up a 92 toyota 4 runner 4X4 V6. I might fruck with it and beef it up a little when I get there, any places to get parts or all internet shopping?

 

Dave- Nah, I believe that is an eclipse at the 4-way stop. And yeah, that's a big hunk of ****, unpainted body kit, with everything else stock. LOL What spot are you talking about on Billingsley? I have no clue where you are thinking of?

JT-There is no real 4x4 place around here, except for Truck'n'America, which is about the same price as any internet site catering to 4x4's. And getting it put in, I can do it where I work at. Well, not me specifically, but my good friend Tony who I have known for years does really good suspension work. He did his sister's 89 Ram Charger, and it looks amazing!!

 

There are 4x4 places if you know where to look. I know of two places off 5. Then there is trick trucks in el Waldorf.

Just look out the window as you drive around. The place on Billingsley is clearly seen from the road. It's on the left as you head towards Waldorf. There is a gate in front but I can see trails and the side of the gate is wide open. It's illegal wheeling but it's never stopped me before. I would not run through someones backyard but there have obviously been others back there before. The trail runs along the power lines and there look like more than a few decent inclines to play on. I need to get some lockers and a winch though or I am going to get stuck one of these times. The ARB lockers are in the works and I am watching ebay and craigslist for a decent winch. I have other things that need more attention than the rear for now like the wiring which I need to replace. It's getting cold and my heater stopped working about a month ago.

 

That sucks... It's still nice and warm down here in SC. Not too much action in the FD lately though. Hows everyone else been?

Damn JT, getting here quicker than I thought.

I am probably selling the Jeep soon, so not much rootin action for me now. I am moving to Illinois this Feb. probably, so I gotta fix up my Jeep and save money to pay off the negative equity.

So your selling your jeep just because your moving? Whats the sense in that?

 

Because having a 400 a month payment is not the wisest thing right now Dave. I know that a car is never going to be an investment, it's a depreciating value every time you start the damn car and drive one mile at a time.

And yeah, I am selling it, my commute in Illinois is going to be longer, as I will be going to school in St.Louis probably, which is a 1.5 hour drive at least, and I will be working. Probably going to go buy some cheap 10k Honda Civic or Accord, 4 banger, basic. And I just don't want to drive the damn thing across the ******* country.

 

$400 now or $400 later. It's all the same if you ask me.

Well im here as of this afternoon, Too bad its raining right now. I got around a little and im staying at the DAYS INN right now for frucking $74 a night, that blows im too cheap for that.

Row-Tar-Eeeh---selling your jeep for how much? Got some pics? My 4 runner is fine, but im thinking now about a JEEP for a F-150, I found a nice F-150 at a little cheese shop for $11K asking price, but I can talk that down since he was already iniviting about the price. Only bummer is 87K does that sound pricey for the area?

 

What year is the truck? Check kelly blue book or NADA to see if the price is accurate.

Why are you staying at days inn? I thought you get military housing?

 

Yeah I was at the days inn, now im at the extended stay.

I guess im going to put some money into my 4-Runner. Im not in the military I got out almost 4 years ago. Im working for DYNCORP now, well I start tomorrow.

its a 1999 on the F-150 blue book from a dealer was pretty accurate, but I guess im going to stay with the 4 runner. Its a nice truck, hell it got me accross the US I guess I should take care of it hehe

 

I owe alot on my Jeep JT. Not asking for a payoff from a buyer. I owe 18k on it right now, and want to sell it for 16.5k. I probably won't get that.

Dave- reason for selling, I need more room, this is my daily driver, the ride sucks now, it's killing me, I need better gas mileage, yadda yadda yadda. But I will get an older wrangler later in life, and do what I want with it, build it how I want it, etc. Plus not give a **** if I leave the top down in the rain, or if the paint gets fucked up and whatnot.

JT, My mom used to work for Dyncorp for a long time. No longer works there though. So does this mean you will only be here for a short two month stint? If so we need to catch up soon. I would like to meet you while the chance is there. Maybe Hooters this weekend is in order.

Justin you sound like your trying to convince yourself. You now have explained why you want to sell your jeep twice. It's your dime dude, do what you want.

 

Fd3BOOST--- Yeah Dyncorp seems like a great company, I just have over 12 years in government and since my time doesnt cross to DYNCORP I would like to do government again to keep that time. If DYNCORP turns out to be great I will compromise, but for now if they ask me to come down to the new job then I might just go.

Hooters sounds cool, the only bumper is I have 2-3 broken injectors so my truck will be down for the count in a few days so it depends on where hooters is.... Sounds cool though..

 

JT- I got a futon and TV you can have. Just come and take it from us, it's useless now. TV is 25" Magnavox I believe, no remote though. It's only a co-ax hookup, no A/V hookups at all.

Dave- I am going back and forth on what to do. I might keep it just for the winter's in Illinois, as it gets pretty hectic there with the snow at times. Plus there might be some kick *** trails out there. Dunno yet. I might sell it Illinois, probably get more buyers out there, and buying a car out there new or used it seems to be cheaper out there. I am just beating around the bush right now, which is pretty typical for me it seems. LOL
