woot, jeep started back up today. disconnected/short in ignition wires. it was NOT the pcm, and they are charging me 1 hour shop rate.
I have been racking my brain about something though. Maybe you guys with PFS experience can tell me something. Would Ray tune a FB with a 13b-RE Cosmo swap, or even a 13b-REW swap. And would the AEM unit even comply with it? I know that Dave loves the AEM unit, but the Power FC is a nice unit also, and can be had for cheap if bought used now. I see some go for 600 bucks on here. I don't even have the car yet, just want to try and budget a few things I guess before I even get the car. The swap should be fun to do, and seems pretty cheap to execute, and it would be custom. And ***** fast also.
Pretty much undetermined on what turbo to use, but that can come later on. I would use the stock sequential turbo's. Kind of undediced to use the 13b-RE Cosmo or the 13b-REW. The cosmo motor is less expensive it seems from www.rotaryshack.com. There is a 500 dollar price difference.
Thanks for any help.

Quit dreaming biatch, you have been talking out of your *** about buying an rx7 for years and I have yet to see it.
As far as hiring Ray for work. Money talks and bullshit walks. Which I think is an appropriate comment for you.
You need to be looking to move out of your mommy and daddys house instead of dreaming about projects you cant house or afford. Damn kids these days.
Hey Yo Brian, so like you want to get a beer this weekend? It's supposed to be awesome weather. Maybe hit Uno's outside?

It could be I am at work bored. And no reason to be moving out right now. We are moving to Illinois soon. I can certainly afford a home out there!
I could afford the project, but it would be long and drawn out project! I will still be buying the RX-7 though. I want it so bad I can taste it!!!
Supposed to be in the 70's tomorrow!! Woo-hoo! It was nice outside today, and it still is nice outside!
I just wanted Ray to wire up the ECU, and have it dyno tuned. I can turn a wrench, blah blah, but wiring and tuning I am clueless. Does he charge like 200 bucks an hour on the dyno anyways?
Dave, what time you plan on going to UNO's? I leave work at 8, if it's too late, no big deal. I am right down the road as you know.

You are moving with your parents out of state? I thought you were 21 and not 18.. LOL
Sorry I have to bust your ***** some for being attached to the tit still.
I'm not even touching the comment about you being able to turn a wrench. Changing oil or ripping apart a car is one thing. Swapping engines is a whole other. Again, money talks.. Get the car first then I'd be more likely to believe you. Just so you know both of the ECU's you mentioned are plug and play. There is nothing to wire up.
I don't have any plans yet for the weekend. If I get a drink it will be during the afternoon.

Anybody see that black touring fd today at the corner of 228 and 210 where those used cars are sometimes parked across from Giant? It had some ghetto wheels but overall the body looked ok. Didn't see it there tonight on the way home from my gig. Oh well...
Yo Dave! Think I can run 10's with that GT 35rs setup???
I'm good for a beer Sunday afternoon. Tracey leaves in the morning for tour so I'm all set for a hang! Let's get some cigars too. "Pretty much the best cigar ever."

I love selling them, they are bad *** SUV's. Commander does not move as much. Also bullshit alot with the tech's in the back, and the service guys. It's a decent place to work, I just complain alot.Yo Dave, it's cool you bust my *****, it keeps me in check. And yes, I will be moving to Illinois, closer to family, and I could easily afford a house out there. Homes out here for 500k go for 200k out there.
Here's that car for sale, says 16k obo on the windshield. That's definitley too high even with the rebuilt motor. Yeah, auto just isn't too appealing to me.
Dave, you know Bud Select is the new champagne of beers. Your buddy will probably be there again doggin your Amstel Light. You gonna bring the 7? Stop by my place first and I'll go get some cigs with ya at the mall.

I play trumpet in the Airmen of Note, the Air Force's jazz band outta Wash. DC. We did a gig with Doc last week and he's gonna write a letter to some Generals to try and have us be his touring band next year. Maybe even do some troop morale tours to Europe and the Desert. I also toured with KC and the Sunshine Band for 4 years before gettin in the AF Band. That was fun doin the Today show, Rosie O'Donnell and I'm even in the Behind the Music on VH1! Just not the part where he had a $100k a yr. drug habit, heehee.
By the way, I found out our 1st Sergeant has a Turbo II for sale, 10th anniv. But I haven't talked 7's with him yet.
Here are the stats on that Black auto FD...

It is to much for an auto with a rebuild and less than perfect paint.
The car is not worth more than 12k in my opinion. If it were not auto I would say the price is fair.

I saw a red touring on 228 turning onto Bensville Rd. this afternoon. Looked pretty stock, but nicely washed or painted. Older Italian lookin guy. Dave, maybe that's the car that was at that shop on Bensville. Don't know who fixed it, but it's runnin now.
thanks for the invite, that sounds great but we're headin over to a buddies house for burgers and beer. Shrimp diablo and ritas sounds killing though! Give me a call when you're on your way over on Sunday.
