hahahah I think about that every time im about to buy something else for the car. I'm no where near you guys but I think ive still spent a good deal of money for only having the car for a year and a half and working part time while in college hahaha. so far my car has cost me about 27k with the initial cost of 14.5k to buy it

Track Prep is ok at Capitol. MIR is better in terms of track condition but lines are almost always longer and crowds larger.

if you go on a test and tune on sat or sun you can get as many runs as you want at mir. I went once and got about 15

Yea MIR is only good at test and tune. Anything else is just a hang.
I bought my current rx7 for $16500 and I am like you Roy. I have a little over 40k into now. It's pretty ridicoulous. My first fd cost me $14k. I didn't have very much on it though before I killed it. I can only imagine what Ernie has thrown into his current car. Not including his old red rx7.

Bought mine for 16k, then have about 20k into it. But more than half of that is warranty on the motor and a 9k insurance claim when it was raped at BWI parking.
Haven't had time to take in that downpipe yet Dave, but I'll try to do that soon so we can have a hang at hooters again.

Yea yea. I am scheduled to get in over at PFS for a re-tune on Friday the 25th of May before the memorial day weekend. Assuming all goes well.

HOOTERS meet Sunday May 27th @12:30. Be there or be square.

OH JON ---Whats this story I heard that you were scared to race a silver suby at capital the other night with your m3.Man the storys that get back to me.hahahahah
Who said that? I don't even remember a silver suby. My boy Ryan was driving my car most of the night as I was busy drinking and hanging with Mark & the Ultima and other dood we met at the Diner with the silver FD. I would never back down from a race - you should know that. I wouldnt believe what you hear cuz neither myself or Ryan recall anyone asking for a race. So who the hell knows cuz I have vids of every run and there isn't a subaru anywhere near my car in the lanes or otherwise.

In any event, the M3 ran everywhere between 13.6 - 13.9 - didn't launch or hook up in 1st or 2nd for **** and I wasn't about to burn out my brand new tires just to get a decent pass. 60 ft's were horrific ( 2.3x ) - combo of the cold and tires.

Based on the mods and what others with comperable mods have done the car would be good for 12.8's. Maybe not with me driving but it has the power to do so.

Eh no not at all - you sure he was talking to me? Tall skinny guy with a redsox sweatshirt on? Tony doesn't ring a bell either.

There were other M's there besides my car.

Does his car look like junk or whats the deal? what Subaru is it even?

Yo Jon that was a cold *** trip home. I think I almost got hypothermia. Next time i'll leave the doors on or bring a bigger coat and some gloves.

Hope you enjoy the goodies.

I think I have everyone beat in price of car...
I bought it for $475 and have pent another $1200 or so in it and it is almost ready to go, but I fix one problem and fifteen more pop-up. I hate it!

So a total of $1700, beat that

Not me. I have the old Integra in pieces on the garage floor. I'm putting in a new clutch, since the old one has 217k miles on it. I took the radiator out and it just crumbled.
Motor mounts are shot, etc. etc.
