Hey Dave, are you and Leslie still going down to North Carolina this year? I would like to join you both and be able to bring the Jeep down onto the beach and go riding through the water. Think you are gonna have the buggy done by then?
We did, I just have a hard time believing that Ray didn't understand what I was talking about. I probably need to datalog my AFR's to see if it's running rich or not thru the RPM band. I think there's a record feature on my gauge, of course I haven't learned how to use it yet.

Ok whoever said it just always runs closed loop is wrong....Jon.
The 02 sensor reads voltage. If you have it unplugged it shows no voltage. This makes the computer think the mix is lean and then adds fuel.
So either plug in the sensor and add the second bung or run the output sensor from your wideband to the evi so that gets the voltage signal it needs.the pfc does not always run closed loop according to Ray.

* When the car is WOT it is reading the map or the tune and not anything from the stock O2.
* The stock O2 isn't even read from when you're over 3k rpm. You'll get a possibly a slight decrease in gas mileage on light throttle and idle, nothing more.
* With a PFC you can disable the stock O2 feedback so it ignores it completely and thus eliminates the need entirely.
