From the weather report, it sounds like its going to be a rain-cross. If so, I'm gonna ditch the strut braces, and run the stockers with Potenza's.

I am NOT a fan of rain + R compounds.

Hehe yeah, I've never raced in the rain, should be interesting. And calvin, does a parent have to sign the waiver in front of someone? Or can I bring my waiver signed by both parents? Neither of my parents are going to be there so I need to know if it's worth me going. Thanks.

Errrr, is it ok if it's just signed by my dad? My mom is out of town and I can't get her to sign it before tomorrow.

Well, I didn't do nearly as well as I wanted to today, but I learned a lot so hopefully I can do better next time. I understeered a ton on my first run so I bumped my rear tire pressures down 3 psi, which was way too much. Car didn't feel confident, and the rear wouldn't stay planted. Anyone going to the NASA event next weekend?

It was cool seeing everyone out today. Man, that was an 'interesting' day.

After all my runs, while doing some thinking while working the course, I remembered I forgot to adjust my shocks from the soft street setting.

Adjusted them, went out for fun runs, and cut 2 seconds off (fun run = 45.6) - learned that memory lesson the hard way.

Between the dirt, gravel, and rubber left over from the drift event, the low lying areas (ie the slolam) were slick. Good time FWD oversteer drifto session on one run.

Next weekend I will be at the NASA event - I'm goinna be giving my old man some instruction but I might get a little seat time, or at least party it up and have some fun.

lame, no pics of me . Guess I was too slow for the camera. I think my pressures were too high for the cloverleaf surface. I ran 38/35.5 and the car wasn't feeling good. I also need to learn to go slower to go faster. Looking forward to the novice school on the 17th, and looking forward to grip @ vmp on the 11th.

I finished 10th overall with street tires, incorrect air pressure, and my shocks set on full soft. I had NO idea we were starting at 11.

I'm going back to CSP. Once I get this thing dialed back in, I think I have a shot at FTD.

I R awesome.

BTW, I saw a cool liscense plate today:

hahaha that license plate rocks.

nice job zach, on the results they have you in CSP, not ST2. You would have won ST2 I think, if they had put you in the right class.

I noticed, but its not a big deal. My permanent registration puts me in CSP, so I have to email them to change it.

Anyone up for a Gforce meet sometime? Possibly next friday or saturday? God that place is fun. I just got back from there not too long ago, a few vmsc people were there. I ran a personal best of 22.559.

Tomorrow's looking like rain, should be interesting. Turns out we're getting 8 runs, so that's gonna be cool. This'll be my first rain event.

Hey everybody I am kinda new here, not really, I have been reading threads on the site for a while, but its time now to start educating myself on sevens bec its official I finally got my FC today, I am guessing i should change my screen name.

Just wanted to say Hi, Zach knows me, so does Robin, well i should say they put up with my countless questions.

anyway, here are some specs of my car

1991 GXL (its not a GT-U, not a TII, so i am guessing its a GXL)
Its got 79k on the ticker, 15K on a new short block
over all its got tons of work done to it I will post some pics.

Plans, Ground Controls, replacing the KYB and Ebiach springs on the car , new wheels and tires, however

I can't decide if i want to do a T2 swap or not, it seems like it takes a lot of effort...ANY THOUGHTS FROM THOSE WHO HAVE DOES THIS OR HAVE EXPIRENCE???? I might just do suspension work and keep it NA

Once again just wanted to say hi and i will be around a lot more now
