You might still be able to get a reserved number. I don't think you have to go to the banquet. I could be wrong. Send them an email.

There is a reserved number waiting list. I am numer three on the list. I think there are a few people behind me. I don't remember the gentlemans name, but the Treasurer of VMSC is the keeper of the list. Contact him to be added to it.

I forgot I had pre-registered for that event. Thanks for reminding me.... I don't think my tires will survive the event, so I might as well use them up.

There is also one the following weekend at ACU4 in Virginia Beach. That is the best autocross site south of Fed-Ex Stadium (of maybe it is better than that).

I'll be at the ACU-4 event I think. The VMSC autox school and autox have been moved to the 24th-25th I think, so I'll go to that, too. See ya on the 11th.

There is also an autocross school in Virginia Beach this saturday (4/3) and an autocross the following Sunday (4/4) at Pungo. It is not a great autocross site, but the schools are pretty good (I am an instructor)....

Hmm, I didn't know there was a school this weekend, is it too late to sign up? How much does it cost? I might be interested.

Zach: Yeah it's at VMP. Here's where to sign up: http://www.nasaracing.net/autox/apr11_04/index.shtml

Also, calvin, what do I do if I'm under 18? Where can I get a waiver and do my parents have to be there to sign it in front of someone? I'll probably be going there by myself. Also, can I request you as an instructor? I think I might come for the school, but I won't be at the autox the next day because of the VMSC one. Thanks for letting me know about the school, I'm trying to get as much seat time as possible.

Joe, you aren't going to believe this. Like half of my shots are blurry. They were extremely out of focus...I hate my eyesight. I think I need to get new glasses.

You can run if you are under 18. You have the have the minor SCCA waiver signed by parents or guardian. YOu only need one for the year. I think you can get the form in PDF from the scca.org site or else from the ODR site (I don't remember the URL, do a google search for ODR SCCA).

You should see some other threads in this section...

I'm thinking on Sat, I'm going to redo my vacuum lines, block off the ACV, figure some way to make the lines that used to run to the charcoal canister not leak a horrid gas smell into the cabin, pressure test the intake, and set my timing.

Should be good for driving around after that!

Once the clutch/flywheel goes in, I'm going to hunt for more wheels (16x7 I already have tires for, or bigger...who knows?!), once that's been taken care of I'm going to keep these 15s around to roast.
