I don't think it would be TII specific. It is just the bolt that holds the a/c idler pulley on. Thanks for the help.

I just talked to Mazdatrix, there is no gasket between the backplate and the turbo. However, there are two bolts at the bottom to go along with the 3 studs that keep the backplate on. I would imagine these are in the shed somewhere zach, it is just a matter of taking the time to go through all of the boxes to find them.

all this snow and ice has had a bad effect on my rex. she wont start. i guess the carb is iced up. she ran for aobut 5 minutes when i smelled gas like a bitch.. so she flooded couldnt start her back up.. so i just left it before i messed anything up.. im just going to let her sit until the snow clears up and catch rides with my parents..

also.. friday morning before school, i noticed more than usual white smoke coming out of the exhaust.. i hope its not a water seal more the reason to start saving for the 13b ive been wanting to do..

I started a website for the VCU spec RX-7 project. The first car we looked at is a real pos, but it's free! We're going to collect as many cars as we can and keep them at a friends shop in Bottoms Bridge.

hehehe...I will never say RX-7's are **** in bad weather...my baby performed and turned some heads doing it. C-ville was white hell and it took me 6 hours just to dig my car out. But when I did I was the only car that kept control while I was try to get it out. On the ice there were a few time whent he car lost traction but there was never a point in time when i lost control. Although I would have prefered a 4x4 or at the very least a subaru (AWD guys how can yuo beat that) I didn't regret taking my car. I promised her if she could get me out I would give her all the mods I promised. Now that she kept her end of the bargain, I need to shop for an exhaust and suspension...a promise is a promise.

 

Yeah I hate not driving my car, but this break will give me a chance to fix the little things.
Yeah the 1G was in bad shape. I don't even know if we'll be able to use it if we find a better one. Doesn't matter, its free.
Wilson, if you put a decent suspension on your rex it'll never do good in the snow again. That being said, you don't need to shop for suspension, just get Ground Control coilovers.

 

I'm telling ya, 355-1010 sportscars ltd has a pair behind their shop.

 

Something I forgot to mention, their cars appear to be whole for the most part!

 

my car is beast in the snow, even with the aftermarket suspension.. maybe its the tires? who knows.. if the rear end gets squirly, just let off the gas, counter steer, and she comes right back.. i havent had any problems in the snow... YET.. im still not getting comfortable in it.. my car just seems to do good

Onepointone- I decided to get the T51-KAI. I will run conservative boost so I don't have any trouble on the track.

 

thats a pretty decent sized turbo... i had to look it up because im not big with turbo numbers..

 

V.A. weather suxx,i just got back from florida this morning,man it was nice to walk around in shorts and no shoes in the middle of Feb. sit by the pool at night and slam a couple of cold ones and still warm enough to jump in the pool,then i come back to V.A. wheres its freezing cold and snowing Aint no place like home.The site looks good zach nice job,i havent decided what im gonna do about a motor,im thinking of just going the rebuid route and see how it holds up i really dont have the money to put a pineapple motor in it and then have to take it out of state just to have it tuned,after blowing it up i want to have it tuned by someone who is going to take their time and tune it right but then theres the $$ factor and the towing of it there..

 

VA weather certainly does suck. I can't wait till this crap is over.
Onepointone- It is bigger then a T78 and weighs much less. Should put down some strong numbers as well.
