Dave, you would not happen to have a sunroof seal would you? I cut mine up pretty bad the other day when I took the silicone sealant off (it was my temporary way to stop the leak until I could replace it).

Don't mess with the ECU if nothing's wrong with the motor. ECU doesn't control anything inside the car (vaguely speaking of course).

CPU! Should be labeled FB01 or FB05 by the fusebox.

I pulled the CPU, per Joe, and it looks like that may be my problem. It reads on the outside buzzer, turn signal, and hazzard, which are all and the only things I have a problem with. Since Robin doesn't have anything else to do he might find one for me. Otherwise, anyone else have one (FB01)?
I also pulled the logicon today. If you've ever tried you know its a beotch getting the back plug out. I pulled the gauge cluster out as far as I could without removing the plugs and I could then reach the plug. FYI.

rob I owe you, well when i got back from the hardware store (they didn't charge me I'm going back) I went to the top of the parking deck and proceded to put actuator in, I got all the bolts in and didn't have anything hooked up and I had class so I had to go, afterwards I went back and finished everything. When I started the car it started idleing high as hell, then i adjusted the braket and she went down to about 1k. Then I took it for a test drive down courthouse road. Got to about 60mph put it in fifth, turned it on, and I started speeding up bug time. I turn it off, gave it some thought, and i realized the set switch was was stuck so a wiggled it a bit and kept messing with it until it was loose, tried it again. Held 60 like a champ Thanks again rob I owe you, over the summer you can come down to my place and beers are on me

Well I'm probably going to part out my silver car...I need money. Umm, so if you all need anything for S4 N/A's tell me, cause I'll probably have it. Except for the rims...I'm saving those. But like I said, need any thing I have it. I'll also be posting this in the For Sale section

Check the CPU by the fuse box and tell me what model number it is. If you can see with a flash light, let me know how many wires are in the top left plug (while in car) on the CPU.

I picked up one from the junkyard from a S4 and it's not gonna work...different style plugs.

i think so.

i got the motor yesterday, got everything down to the block, now im trying to locate a 52mm socket so i can take the flywheel off, then i will tear it down, currently saving for the rebuild kit.

we pulled the motor and tranny as one peice, then separated it on the ground. when we took the tranny out, i noticed there was just a LITTLE metal showing on the pressure plate... shinned a flashlight down in there and the clutch looked BRAND NEW. in excitement i took it off, and there was still writing on the disk. i wanted to get a street/strip setup, but i guess its less money i need to spend to get it running

ALSO, i talked to robert at rotaryperformance in ca (his 12a pushed 720rwhp!!!) and he said he will sell me a 48 ida sidedraft, **** load of jets, upper intake manifold, and everything else to get it on, plus he will tune it for me for $600. so when i get the funds, thast what im getting. i guess other than that, i just need to figure out the streetporting, couple little things like fuel pump, oil cooler, ect and it should be it. i look to having it in by fall.

It was from a blue s4 about midway back. There was a red one on the front row, the blue one about mid-way and another one in the back that had been picked through pretty good.

The red one in the back is where I got my wiper switch from, picked up the wrong CPU from that one too.

That one up front (red too) I snagged all kinds of screws that my car has been missing...

Can't wait till they get some new ones in!

I'll give you the one I have after the shop replaces it...it's just got a small tear in the rubber below the DIN openings. Not visible unless your inspecting it.
