my friend marcus that was at the dyno day called rosen about them putting the sr20det into his 240, they said they cant do it because they are closing down sometime after the first of march. i dont know of any other dyno around here. that really sucks, even though i only went there that one time, it seemed like a badass shop. guess we will have to find another dyno

I'm with you RGordon. I haven't ever seen anything close to a nipple at Hooter's.

 

you can see more of a nipple than you can at titty bar around here,at least when its cold out and you swing the door open really fast and the hostess gets a cool breeze you can see the headlights turn on,thats better than a duct taped nipple with a pastie(IMO),we got to chester all the time like rob said you gotta watch out for all the dust,lol these one waitress i went to school with just insisted that the place was just full of dust (some kind of clean freak or something) it was just the beer intensifying the moment you just had to be there i guess,That sucks about rosen where the hell i going to get my car dynoed now??? damn that sux just ruined my whole day finding that out

I've started up a Spec RX-7 Racing program at VCU. I'm waiting for our tax ID number so I can open up a bank account and start getting money. The plan was to raise about 1G and then look for a car, but a guy in VA Beach is going to give us one with no engine! All we have to do is go pick it up. Next step is to find a 12A somewhere. I guess CAP would be cheap, but I want to know if it runs since a rebuild will cost so much. Any suggestions?

i think the motor that was on the first gen was in good condition. it as 180k on it, but it had alot of new stuff on it (ie: brake rotors and such) worth a shot. i would of pulled it but i had my car and i wasnt about to carry a motor in my rex

However, Sportscars LTD (1300ish cary st, right hand side after the church) has 2 FBs (not SA) that look like parts junkers. If you find out the mileage on both, let me know!! (I still need a rear end *bad diff* and a motor for my 83 *burns oil*)

 

No, there were a few freshman at the meeting I talked to but I don't remember their names. Could be him.

I already have the car. It's an 85 down in VA Beach. No dash, stripped interior, no tranny or engine. We're going to pick it up next week. A friend in SAE (society of automotive engineers) has a garage we can keep it in and we're thinking about rebuilding the engine in the hibay of the engineering building.
Once I get the car and take a look at it, I'll make a list of stuff I'll need and it'll be road trip to CAP to do some wrenching. Do me a favor and keep and eye out for an engine & tranny. I can't use another car because I have no place to keep it.

really....the junkyard i go to has 3 or 4 FC's and i have yet to see 1 FB (I have heard rumors there is one in "the swamp") but if you want anything tell me and ill go back home and go hunting, hell you come too if you want...just be ready to drive 3 hours.
