Silver (paint is faaaaded) on black. Surface rust spots on the pass fender.

BAM!

But really, the large discoloration on the side is from being parked under/near a tree, not rust (that'd be the biggest ******* rust spot ever). The hood wasn't closed in the pics.

On a side note, Zach sucks at knowing where to park around campus.

As you can tell, it hasn't really been cleaned either.

Any of you interested, the Hampton Road Rotary Club is getting together about as close as we are going to be towards you guys. This is a casual BYO cook out thing. It is Nov 7th, all of you are welcome if you are interested, here is the info:

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...59#post3657259

It is Exit 256-A (Oyster Point Rd) right off of Interstate 64, so it is easy to find, and that should give all of you a good idea of how far it is from you.

Holy ****, I usually get a spot right at the engineering building. I ran out of time driving around so i parked halfway between my house and campus. I could have walked and saved 15 mins.
I was soooooo pissed, but then I saw a hot chick I used to know on the way to class and talked to her a little, so it's all good.

hmm.. well it doesnt look like its going anywhere anytime soon, so im definately going to keep it in mind. the paint isnt a big deal as ill paint it flat black (so it will be one color). it does have the oil cooler, which is dope. she has potential. let me see what i can come up with. i dont know if im ready to bring a chassis home yet or not.

$149, (I paid $250 on day one when it first came out) they'll probably stick pretty close with that price point till it gets near the time of the PS3 or the next Xbox.
It is tiny, about the size of 2 DVD boxes put together.
Pop open lid like the PS1, no more slide out tray, so now you can easily get at the lense to clean it.
Direct network connection out the back, DC plug in power - this makes the power cord a 2 peice operation: an extension cord and power inverter cord. This should it very easy to hook up in a car.
Did I mention it's small? I just measured it, 9"x6"x1", I **** you not.
YAY!! all my games work again!

Looks like there will be a ton of rx-7's on the 21st. Should be fun. Some of the MSP/Protege people might be getting together soon, I'll let you guys know. I might be at gforce tomorrow with my friend matt (silver wrx, chunked tire doing donuts at the last meet), I'll post up what time we're going when I know.

Rotary rebuild = $1500
if you are going to be stuck at home with no RX-7 you might
as well have a working PS2, hopefully Gran Turismo 4 comes
out before the PS3 does

What's happening on the 21st? (11/21?)

Special thanks to Grendel_2000- After seeing your TID, I bought a 3" dia aluminum tube w/ a 45 degree bend and crafted myself one. Holy ****! Best mod I have ever done for less than $60. Without my boost controller adjusted, I hit 18 lbs of boost!

well, i went down on the bike last night. it was pretty hardcore. i was doing about 70mph trying to catch up to my friend. i looked down at the speedo for a SPLIT second, caught that his brake light came on in the corner of my eye, i looked up and i was REAL close to him so i grabbed the front brake. i dont know how it locked up so easily, but it did, so i let go of the brake real quick and the handle bars went straight to the right, i tried to push them to the left and i went down. the first time in a LONG time ive ridden in just a t-shirt. my shoulder is pretty bad, i got LOTS of road rash, bruises.. ect. my helmet, that i just got painted and havent paid for the paint job yet, is fucked. it definately served its purpose though. i think was happened is i went down and my right shoulder hit the ground, it flew me on my back and my head hit the pavement. i rolled FOREVER it seemed. i finally stopped sliding/rolling i just layed there know i went down at 70mph. i heard the bike still sliding and i kept thinking "i dont even want to look it" some lady saw it happen and came over and asked if she should call someone, but i said i had a phone, and my friend was with me. we got the bike out of the road, it seemed ridable, so i road it to my friend's house and he took me to the hospital.

let me tell you, road rash is NO, and i mean NO fun in the hospital. they had to scrub me with some ****. i cried.

long story short, im done with the bike for a little bit. after we got back from the hospital, i went to my friend's house to look at the bike, and i rode it home. it didnt scare me like i thought it would, but it just sucks hardcore.

all i have to say is.. im REAL lucky it wasnt worse. i mean, i hit the ground at 70mph, with no jacket. im going to take some pictures and host them tonight. my helmet is crazy. granted it was $240 gone, it served its purpose.. really good. i didnt feel a thing when i hit the ground.

Ouch man, I feel your pain, on my second bike I was going like 50 MPH around a realy curvy road and as i was going into a really tight turn i saw a nice glass bottle in the middle of the road, to say the least i wrecked. My front tire poped up into the air and i started sliding on the ground, also i was without any protection (its always the day you don't wear protection that you wreak) luckyly i had a backpack on which i mangaged to tuck in and slide on, unfortunaty my boot caught the peg of the bike when it landed so it drug me alone with it. I had road rash on the back of my legs not to bad fortunately but when the bike actually hit the bottle the force of the handlebars twisting back from the impact broke my thumb, not fun. A few drill holes later in my hand and a month wearing a cast i was as good as new. The leason to be learned is that death comes from cars. stay the hell away from other cars. If it had not been three in the morning a car would have probally run over me.

Hey man i live to inspire, you also have inspired me and i am currently searching for an S5 turbo/manifold (anyone have one?) so i can make 18 psi as well.
