actually just saying UM or university of maryland really refers to college park. umbc used to be a liberal arts college but now is trying to compete with college park... which is why tuition is now so high.

eage8 - make sure you keep an eye on your bills and scholarships and financials. umbc has an entire group of old ladies that take car of your bills and they just happen to all have their senior moments all at the same time.

there's a couple drift folks that go to umbc also.

hey if you folks in the EC and columbia area want to get together sooner than the saturday meet, then maybe crashing the starbucks in columbia would be a good place to meet.

i have no idea where the centennial area is .... i'm off of 108 (or is that 103 - i suck at numeric directiosn) ... basically near the Giant

Any of your fellow employees ever think that people asking for "Coke" were druggies looking to score in a VERY wrong place? Just curious.... XD

uh have you been to The Avenue/Loews in White Marsh on a friday night?? Let's not even mention if a movie is being released. All the kiddie freaks come out. Asking for "coke", you'll probably have a 90%+ success rate in actually getting it.

Unless you mistakenly ask the other half of the crowd which are the valley girls.

Like .. Oh .. my God. ...

*ugh*

Tenacious - olney to white marsh? waay far. isn't olney off of 70 right? Has a familiar ring to it. Near sykesville, woodbine/lisbon? Or is olney off of 95?

Correct. Right now we're tenatively looking at Sept 25th, which is 4 weeks from now. Driving details and directions will be available soon. I need to talk to the resturant managers to make them feel special that we're using their parking lot for a car meet - so they don't freak out on us.

If you can't make it with the FD, the buick's fine.

We'll spray paint smiley faces and rotary mantras all over it when you arrive j/k.

slightly offtopic...

Tenacious/TofuBall - I finished breaking my engine in and i calculated out that i get like 24MPG highway AGRESSIVE driving, so its prob closer to 24MPG city/ 27MPG highway normal driving.

damn good for a 2 ton car that goes damn fast.
