im not flaming doug, i love doug. im flaming ANYONE in general who calls it a ****** "hachiroku" because they like hear themselves to say it like they are sophisticated because they know of such a monster and how to say it in japanese.

anyway the year and the model number are not correspondent. AE86 does not mean it was made in 1986. in fact i think in the US the one you want is the AE88 but it is basically "THE EIGHT SIX"

anyway hope to meet some more new people this week at dinner.

dont worry im nicer in person

that's my point. the name makes people think they're amazingly shpeshal because they use it...they want the car because it's OMG SOOOOOOO GR8 Y0!! they find one for cheap, and expect to be able to drift with it the next day...and whine, bitch, and moan about all the work that it needs to run, let alone run well enough to take abuse regularly.

if people did more research before buying this particular car, and didn't fall into the same stereotypical doriftuu fanclub, then i'd probably give more respect when i hear the name...but since most of the kids who use it really know nothing of what they're talking about, it makes my hackles go up.

i did in fact wake up cranky. sometimes, you know, women are bitchy. y'all learn to deal with it when your moms/girlfriends are bitchy, so i know you can handle my little outburst.

the only 86 that grabs my attention are:

* TRD's 86 - only the fact that you can shift at 10000 rpms; Unfortunately it lost the 86 battle.
* (I can't remember the name)'s 86 - ITBs made a funny whistling sound; I believe it was also in the 86 battle. White car with neon blue and pink and green. The throttle bodies were a neon green and everytime the driver revved it made a funny whistling sound.

My friend's 86 is spraycan flat black. Usually seen up in the Bel Air/Owings Mills/Harford County region. He likes driving it because he used to drive a Bonneville stationwagon, so he's saving on gas big time.

This morning, I had that not so fresh feeling. But I'm ok, I only have itchy butt now.

everyone has to come tonight cause I'll be there... and also jason, you want to come over to my house to take my injectors out or should I limp it to the garage?

-Myk

PS. I don't know about you guys but all the "carolla" drifters I've seen have been pretty damn good.

Hmmm, if you're gonna be there then maybe I should come out of my hermit lair....

Too bad I have zero dollars for anything till I either get a refund for my $300 Xbox if Kurai falls through on friday, or start up my job on monday..... so maybe I shouldn't... ~_~

they'd have to be to successfully drift that car. been there, tried that...wasn't too successful. the 240s on the other hand...smooooth as buttah when drifting(compared to the corolla).

=p

I've never seen Initial Dee, I got it from a old friend of mine whose japanese, /boggle, Hatchi Roku means 86 in japanese, thus 1985 corrolla is an incorrect term, however, because the 1984-1986 GTS'?" are rear wheel drive, they are the only ones that are worth mentioning of being able to possibly race/drift. If it will make you all feel better, I'll call them "120 flywheels!", anyways his isnt a hatchback, it was owned by a old lady, and she bought it brand new, she put a total of like 110k miles on it, and the engine bay looks like it just came out of the factory. I just thought it was cool that he bought one! btw Jesse, U ROCK!

Heading over to the shop now, btw YF19, have you found me a girlfriend yet? omfgz I'm waiting /tap /tap!

oh god....stop the pms/child birthing rant here...we all know guys have it better. As for the corolla debate, just let people enjoy their cars...all it is is the new civic.

good, cause that means that there are going to be fewer around after they kill themselves or destroy the car.

brandon who's the girl and all is well, try to come up thursday or whatever. Also key note, when we go to dinner, please prevent yourself from pay for the whole group, there are many reasons why this is a bad idea, but I think last night was example enough. Thursday is dinner at El-Salvadorian in Airpark, check here tonight 5 for directions, I'm going there tonight for the sole purpose of creating directions (cost is between 7-12 dollars a plate) place closes at 10, we'll be there by 9pm

In other news, the RX-7 is sold, the Hatchi guys (Ken and Julian) picked it up for a undisclosed price, (400dollars) I'm still rotory though only difference is I'm putting in none RE cars.
