The "upper sensor" IS the +1.

So you have 12 teeth per rev on the bottom sensor, and 1 tooth per rev on the top sensor. The ECU uses the top tooth to know where in the cycle it is, and the bottom tooth for speed and position information.

I think the ecu needs the 2 wave paterns that
the 2 sensors generate wich are identical but one is a few degrees
ahead of the other one. Im trying to get in touch with microtech
to see if im correct.
The ECU needs both the 12-tooth pattern and the 1-tooth pattern as they are used for different things (the 1-tooth pattern is used to synchronize with where in the cycle the engine is, and the 12-tooth wheel is used with that information to tell actual e-shaft position, speed, etc...).

Also another person toldme to see if there is an immobilizer,
are this cars equipped with immobilizer??
Guys, thanks for the help.
Can't answer that.

Ken

I won't be at that one. Shooting to have the car back together and broken in for April 21. For me, Frederick was the hardest, a lot of doubling/tripling back, easier to get lost.

I'm going to get the 7 looked at really soon, but it currently doesn't idle, so I'm not sure autox is in the cards...any thoughts?

And by "thoughts" I meant do you think having to feather the gas constantly would cause problems trying to autox? I might just hold out till I get it running well.

why don't you just screw in the idle screw on the throttle body that holds the plates open a bit?

yes, make sure you adjust the correct screw though. It should be fairly easy to tell just by looking at the linkage that it does what you want.

I have a turbo, so everything is in a different place.

Im not hovering but i did read it. As far as your comments Ive always done everything i can to help everyone the best that i can. I have never had any problems with my engine rebuilds and as for a fully custom 13btt swap and all custom made parts go. its very hard to know how much time and money its going to take to do the job the why they want it. even harder when said person changes there mined every week. I never bashed you in public and I always respected You. I also offered to finish your car at no extra charge because of the delay. We are sorry for any inconvenience and the offer still stands. We will be in the new building soon and would be glad to see you.

Michael, my earlier post describes you to a T. I'm allowed to change my mind especially when nothing had been done for over a year other than a block/transmission with motor mounts. In fact, you actually asked for more money for an aftermarket front bumper after you had received over $17,000. That should be the last thing to consider. Why would someone do $15,000 worth of work for free? You are clearly fooling yourself. You've never said you were finishing my build for free. You're the first individual I've met who can fabricate stories on the spot. It was back in April of 2011 where I asked if the money can be refunded and you said "I don't have that kind of money and I have bills". You also said people screwed you over and stole from you. May 2011: I asked about seeing the receipts for parts and you said "I can't let you see the receipts though" under your breath. When I asked why not, you said "okay I guess you can see the receipts". Paying attention to detail is something that you've lacked. It's even harder when the other said person involved doesn't do what they're paid for and tries to dissuade me from what I wanted to do with my car. This means that neither of us were ever on the same page. This also made complete sense given the state of my car each and every week when I came to check in on it (sometimes more than once a week). Also, what is it with "we" as I only dealt with you, Michael Quinn. I was never naive but rather optimistic given your willingness to "make things right". But as you've proven time and time again, you were never reliable. It'll all come out soon enough. Like you said to me on the phone, "see you in court, *******".

I'm not going to feed into this gossip. I have many faithful customer's that still work with me. This isn't my style to do a "pissing match" my work says it all ,and it's a shame you backed out too soon due to whatever circumstances you were going through. Thank you.

Seriously, what's your mental makeup? Let’s rewind to April 22, 2011 when I came and asked for my money back. You said you did not know where it was? That is your style of "business", and your current way of "business" has no representation of what happened from March 2010 when you got $5000 up front till April 22, 2011 when I told I'm taking my car because you informed me of your eviction from your place of "business" that was to take place on May 1, 2011. I found out something sketchy was going on from Doug because you were not fulfilling the agreement you had between you two. You have absolutely no reputation within the rotary community. You have no loyal customer base. The current group of people you do "business" with have absolutely no idea of what happened. You're simply delusional. "Pissing match"? I do recall you with red watery eyes explaining to me and my girlfriend how you were going to "fix the situation" and telling me how "apparently I'm not a good business owner". I literally have no time for gossip, anyone will vent the truth when they are out $17,000. I gave you the benefit of the doubt for a year and one month and finally realized that nothing was ever going to happen which is the very reason why I pulled my car out also with the consideration of what others were saying like Jermaine, Josh, Jimmy, Doug, Paul, Jordan, Joey etc. You continued to work on your own cars while my RX-8 sat and even after you said you were going to "fix things" you continued to buy parts for yourself, got a house for rent, and as of recently you just closed on a house and posted about it all over facebook, you IDIOT! What circumstances are you referring to? The money was never an issue, you never worked on my car, so the money stopped going to you. You had more than half and did not even mock up the car! You JOKE, you are surely guaranteeing yourself a RUDE AWAKENING!

PS: You claim the installation of an un-built 13b with a 5- speed transmission and fabricated motor mounts cost $13,130.00. You really think the rotary community will take you seriously? Oh yeah, I laughed when my lawyer came back and told me that you were claiming that during the last hearing.

Ernie's drag car...

Again not yours...

Do you always post old pics of builds that are not yours other than that integra to get clients?

I did all the work on those cars. I didnt say they where mine. Im not going to responed to any more of your accusations that have yet to be determined. My personal finanses have nothing to do with this. I work at a big auto shop as the head ASE master tech and I make a good living. I do engine rebuilds on the side to help pay for parts on the race car. but all of this is none of your business.

It was just the spark plug wire. Thats good. Did you switch out the actuators yet or fix your old ones?

Read my post again....

It wasn't any of my business until you said "it's a shame you backed out too soon due to whatever circumstances you were going through". You're misleading people with every response. Example, your sig said FD semi p-port yesterday and today it's not there? You replace it with tube chassis 20b FC. You are the very definition of pathetic. Auto World in Gaithersburg, right next to Cycle Max, is not what I would call a "big auto shop".

Don't be naive, I'm not your only problem... Where did the rest of my $13,130 go because I remember you saying "I don't have it". You have yet to provide a single legitimate answer to me in person and now on the forums. You say "the offer still stands", there was never an "offer". If you were really trying to do right at that time you would have contacted me through Facebook or called and kept me posted as to what position you were/are in.
