And I know what slimy crap tastes like because I've been to papa johns!

i would still take dominos or pizza hut over papa johns. their fresh ingredients are used on dough that was highly pre-processed.

Dude, I'd rather eat at Taco Bell then Papa Johns. BLARGH.

But even that is better then the brick burger.

I've worked for all three. I can tell you that Domino's and Papa Johns use the EXACT same method of making dough. It involves mixing at an offsite commissary, placing in trays and proofing under refrigeration for 2 1/2 to 3 days before use (it's considered "ideal" between the 3rd and 6th day after mixing). Pizza Hut does still have some locations using dough mixed in the store, but most in this area have gone to frozen dough.

I don't want to "bash" any of the three - each has certain things I prefer over others. Papa John's actually has the sauce I prefer - it's got a seasoning mixed in that's mostly sugar, which gives it a good flavor in my opinion.

As I mentioned, corporations set strict guidelines for prep, because ideally you should be able to get an identical item at any store you go to. But guidelines are only as good as the people who have to follow them. My personal favorite is Ledo's but sometimes I'm unhappy with what I get there too.

::drools:: Ledo's up here in hagerstown is oh so good, I love there pizza. I would choose them over either 3 any day. Then again a small new york style pizza joint where i grew up called, Vince's Pizza is the best, they have a sauce that is sweet and the it's always cooked perfect everytime.

You can drive up to NYC, get off the highway at any of the borough exits at random, and look for the rattiest pizza place you can find. Some big greasy guy named Tony in a sweaty white t-shirt will take your order, and you will experience the best pizza in the world. Good pizza is like a religion there.

Anyone need a DVR and some other DirecTV receivers? We just canceled our service to go with FiOS.

who is selling it to you?

also, if you get an 87 FC or older you can register it as a historic vehicle and not have smog or inspection ever

and yeah, it's times like this where I miss having my bmw... that thing was awesome to drive around in the snow with.

Yeah, I just moved here from the west coast and am having a similar problem, gov't ***** out here!

Speaking of that....Does anybody have a Power FC for a '93FD that I could borrow/rent for one afternoon to pass state inspection? The car previously had a PFC on it and has been rewired, so the check engine light is lit. If anybody has one I would gladly rent it or give them cash to hold onto till I bring it back.

My email is Justins311 at hotmail.com if so!!

Don't know what I'm going to do about emissions, state insp is going to be hard enough

That sounds kinda weird 1988 with 6700mi wouldnt the apex seals be bad. Also dont the 10ths have a black hazard button mines black and that one is red like my gxl. Could be wrong but sounds to good to be true.

Why would the apex seals go bad?

They are just steel, coated in oil.

If it's 19 years old and has less than 7k miles, they might be coated in rust.

I have a bit of faith in capillary action to hold the oil in place

Apex seals arent really exposed to the outside either, so I don't see it rusting out unless they left the hood and intake manifold off or something.
