There's plenty of room up ahead I know he's blocking me off specifically because he doesn't think I should be speeding. So I got pissed and passed him on the shoulder/exit lane and nailed it.

He catches up to me and highbeams me, leaving the brights on constantly. I flipped him off, then brakechecked him hard enough to lock up the front tires at 90...

Those Rams have good brakes.

The satisfying part about that... is that he probably spent 2-3 times as much money in gas trying to keep up.

Anyone have a decent, used GM alt they don't want anymore?

I could use one, the one on my van locked.

Letting off the gas results in a decrease in forward velocity.

Home and food were in a forward direction at the time.

Decreasing forward velocity toward home and food is counterproductive.

Besides, I'm perfectly okay with controlling my car on a striaght section of highway at triple digit speeds and if ever I feel uncomfortable, I will slow down... The only driving advice I will take are from experienced race instructor or the guys in the silver cars with the blue flashing lights... This person was neither and therefore unqualified to direct my driving.

I don't even have time to work on my own cars... I'm too busy trying to write ms2 code... that's pretty much all I do when I come home... I work for 10 hrs at the day job, come home, eat, and work till midnight.

This weekend was the first "break" I've had since I went to Taiwan in March.

dude, careful who you brake-check... I've called the cops on a few people who brake checked me . I was definately not trying to impede the dudes forward progress, but he felt the need to zip around and hit up the brakes. I'm happy my dad wasn't driving or he'd have prolly rear-ended the dude at 75mph.

one time one dude in like an A6 brake checked me in the middle of a speed bump when I was in my dad's jeep and he was going like 3 mph over the speed bumps, I was a little pissed, but in theos position, I can see why he did it.

if I drove an suv or something that could take the hit my annoyance at a talegater might result in a break check, but Im too afraid of someone hitting my car to mess around with that...

I got a waiver with my summit racing receipts. For all the parts used to replace my stock fuel lines and FPR with stainless braided lines, AN fittings and an aftermarket FPR. Even though technically the aeromotive FPR I have now isn't emissions legal.

The total has to be over $450 (if I recall correctly). And you get $150 credit for doing the work yourself.

They went over the receipts looking at every item, 3 times, and didn't count anything that wasn't directly on the car.. like the $10 wrench for the AN fittings. They also looked at the engine to verify the parts were there. When he was satisfied he did the paperwork for the waiver and embossed all of my receipts.

You never get the car back to what it should be . . . .

I hate taking my car to shops. I LOTHE taking it to emissions.

I hate letting someone you know will abuse the car have the keys . . .
