Maryland guys!
well i work at the movie theatre.. i'm catching the early show.. before all the hot rods and ricers come out and try to race me.. :-D.. i might have to beat a few just so they can leave me alone..
From opening day on for the next week, I am not leaving my house or going anywhere near a road. The current driving population is already at critical stupidity. Once this movie comes out, I think the collective idiocy smashing up against eachother will begin a chain reaction, releasing a huge wave of driver retardation. The effects will kill millions, and leave Hiroshima a smoldering, radioactive wasteland. Then, many years later, they will biuld a Mazda factory and make some cool cars for us . . .

Drove the car w/ the engine I rebiult around.
Project time is about a week and a half :p

I need help today though. I'll be in Rockville around 4 or 6 or so trying to load a van with no engine into my mom's garage, help pushing would be great

oh good you found a place to put it for a while, my co-worker said I couldn't move the hachi to his house, so it's a good thing...
Also, I agree that driving after this movie without anyone slamming into you while doing a "mad tight drift yo" is going to be a bit harder.

that's why i'm taking my parents' old minivan as a beater...they can doriftu into the van all they want, but they'll be hurting from it.
If there's a group going in the area, I guess I'll make another appearance...
Like Ken, I couldn't give two ***** about the story... I just want to see Rhys Millen and Hubinette do their thing for the stunts...

i saw the Fast and Furious (first show at 12pm) it was aight.. they used the same mountain on Initial D the movie.. its funny.. i think its Akina mountain.. but it was funny that they never mention the name of the mountian.. Probably so people dont go to japan just for that mountain.. plus at the end of the movie there is a message saying that its not good to try to do these "stunts" or what ever out side.. i think we all know that.. but for people who are new to it.. i bet there are goin to be alot of accidents this weekend

I didn't have a compression gauge and wanted to know the numbers on the motor in my Tahoe because it was having some issues, so I asked JBA to check it out. They wanted to charge me $360 for a compresison check. But they wouldn't do it unless I first paid them some outrageous amount to replace all aftermarket filters, plugs and sensors under the hood "to verify that non-AC Delco parts aren't the problem"
After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I told them to get fucked, borrowed a compression tester and got my own numbers in about 12 minutes.

I remember after I saw the first movie people were racing on every floor of the parking garage and half the cars tried to race at every light they came to, couple of them even got pulled over for it
I'm actually going to make a thread about this in the entire NE section..but for what it's worth...
I'm going to be needing my 1988 T2's tranny rebuilt sometime in the near future. I'm wondering...can anyone reccomend a certain shop in Maryland? :O Thanks!

ehh, I guess I've just been lucky with the dealers I've been to... They were always willing to take care of every little problem as long as the car was under warranty, and it wasn't just special treatment b/c my step-father is the service manager....
He did that for everyone, mainly because he wins trips if he has the best customer satisfaction in his district.... He's been to Hong Kong, Ireland, Hawaii, etc... because he takes care of his customers... and he's been to those places for free.

I know the tow dolly will haul the vanagon. Previous owner hauled an Exploder on it and I've hauled a Chevrolet Venture minivan on it. (Not with my truck though.)
