But there's only enough whipped cream for teh cookies. Not enough to fill the tub.

What can help me with this?

Not my current job... CNC Machinist/Programmer @21K a yr...

Internet searches turn up an average of 30-35K a yr...

Some companies start out at over 40K...

I'm changing over to a communications technician for Metro... 45K a year starting...

Ever since I was 15 I've had a job. Never had a woman or fancy car... I have a life. Today it consisted of dealing with 50 year old iron plumbing and a blown out water heater in my mother's townhouse.

You wanna know what comedy is, try and navigate the stairways of a 14 ft wide townhouse with a 40 gallon tank that's full of 140 degree rusty water and can't be properly drained. Your only assistant inthe endeavour is a 60 yr old Asian woman. Note that the 60 yr old Asian woman is a pack rat, so there is very little clearance around the work area and all the way to the stairway...

It's overrated anyway. I did the network admin thing for 3 years (in the IT world for 7). Started doing tech support at AQ (don't laugh falnfenix) when I was 15. But once you get to a certain pay level as a network admin (in the baltimore market anyway) you top out without a 4 year degree in CIS.

I've been pretty happy since I quit my job. I kinda ditched it all at once. The women cheat on you, the fancy cars blow up, and the jobs just start to get full of political horseshit and drama (self employment is DEFINATELY the way to go).

I'm moving to florida for a less hectic life doing something different for awhile, maybe going back to college and getting my CIS degree... or changing feilds completely. Until then, the odd jobs work fine for me. Keep me on my toes and **** never gets boring.

My cars will never blow up, simply because I drive bulletproof machines. Every car I've ever had was running when it was hauled off. One was even driven to the scrapyard. I will never own a fancy car.

I certanly hope my house doesn't blow up on me. That'd be bad, though a 300K insurance payout would be nice.

Still trying to figure out the women part...

I'd go self employed if I knew WTF to self emply myself as, that'd support my living expenses.

I applied for my old school system's main IT department for a 50-60K job... I thought they'd be kinda flattered that a product of their educational establishment would be working for them doing major backbone network, server, and mainframe support.

My resume states that I'm currently in college. They noticed that if I had that job I wouldn't be able to go to college full time.

My job interview turned out to be more like a ******* session with a guidance counselor. I ******* hate guidance counselors. They don't offer much guidance when there's only one ******* option... College College College... **** College. It's just like High School, but I get a huge ******* bill that I can't afford at the end of the semester. (And one at the beginning from the book store.) A bit much for an IT degree that's damn near useless anyhow.

Of course when they pointed out that I should finish college because it'd be better for my future, I couldn't bust out with "I don't like college. The only class I have left is a fine/practical art elective and I don't like art." That'd be unprofessional. Instead, I managed a feeble, "Yeah. I figured employment in the field with good practical experience would be useful, but I guess you're right."

Needless to say, I didn't get the job even though I pwned their tests, repaired some problems on their test machines that they didn't even know about, and taught them a few things that they didn't know.

Fairfax County Public Schools FTL.

I had a black Dodge Ram TurboDiesel tailgate me on I95 South last week or so... The bastard kept trying to play cop with me.

I was moving along at 100 or so in the left lane and he blocks me off. Flashing to pass didn't work, so I went right.. He blocks me off again.. Everywhere I go, he blocks me off... There's plenty of room up ahead I know he's blocking me off specifically because he doesn't think I should be speeding. So I got pissed and passed him on the shoulder/exit lane and nailed it.

He catches up to me and highbeams me, leaving the brights on constantly. I flipped him off, then brakechecked him hard enough to lock up the front tires at 90...

Those Rams have good brakes.
