Took my mx6 to emissions and failed. Now I've got four months to ignore the problem before I have to get retested. Makes me wonder if I can take my rx7 once every 4 months (once it's running), fail, pay the inspection fee, and do the same thing 4 months later.

One thing annoying, the guy in front of me was in a circa 1990 vette and the only made him do the idle test. I asked why and they said it was because of the year and model of the car that he didn't have to do the full test. Those things have to be just as polluting as an rx7 from the same year, why don't we get special treatment?

Run E85 for the test :p

Then flush out your system before it expands your rubber and eats your aluminum

It was either not the same year Vette you thought or they knew each other and were doing something wrong (not impossible). The rules for what year vehicles are subject to what test are VERY clear.

OMG! I wanna get a whole buncha people and do that! Just keep doing laps around the beltway till the ENTIRE thing is doing 55...

Run 4 across and two or three deep just in case someone gets through or for when it splits out into 5 lanes across up by 270 or down in the Springfield mixing bowl. Have people block off the exit lanes when the exits go through...

I want a ticket for doing the speed limit. That's the one I'm gonna pay a lawyer to defend me against...

If that was a general statement: Hell if I know, people are wierd like that....

If that was aimed at me: Because your mom likes it when I do, what with my "springtime of youth" and all...

I'm not sure which car to use for this...

The truck has a bit more durability in case someone has enough road rage to justify attempted murder and ram me...

The civic has cruise control, mandatory for keeping it at any low speeds. My foot is too heavy.

The RX-7 has a trashed steering box and will take up two lanes by itself, despite me holding the wheel straight.

thats easy. run it by the police as an experiment in road law and tell them exactly what will happen. can prob get an officer on or off duty to help.

wrong....if you guys do this you will all be arrested I guarantee it. Some of the world bank jokers tried something similar to congest 495, 395, and 295 by taking up all the lanes and slowing down to a crawling speed. This landed all them in jail and cars impounded because they were used in a organized crime. You guys are all good kids and don't need that type of trouble.
