Hey Pele,
For several months there was a silver S3 gsl-se model parked along Rolling Road and on the side roads around Faifax Co. parkway. It periodically relocated to a different spot, but otherwise didn't seem to move much. Haven't seen it lately. Was that yours?

edit-
I have a window if you are interested.

Mine's a GSL with a brown passenger fender. (Still S3 and silver) It's in Laytonsville MD at the moment.

I need the driver's quarterlight. Not the actual door window.

Werd, a home garage needs to be equipped with an oven and a dishwasher.

You can use the oven for stuff like this. The stovetop can be used to test thermostats and temperature sensors. And the dishwasher makes a great parts washer.

I'd hit up Craigslist for an old stove. My mom got one for her house for $10.

I already have a big refrigerator in the garage. If I put an oven out there my wife would change the locks on the house and tell me to have fun

Just got back from Miami last night. The 7 series with the Dinan option is a beast. For a large sedan this thing handles great and has power on tap that throws you back in the seat from 20-130. I did 90+ the entire way and it felt like I was doing 45. I just need now to learn how to use the manual shift option and I am sure this thing will be a 12 ft long rocket ship.

"Auction Alert!!!"

There is a 1984 rx7 listed on the auction block for tomorrow at the Capitol Auto Auction on Brentwood Road in NE DC. Auction starts at ten, be there at nine to get a space close to the building. Don't know the condition but from going to the Brentwood location nobody buys stick shift car, most all of them go to Smith's junkyard.

" This has been your public service announcement." You may now go back to your regularly scheduled program!

I'm not worried either... The only cars that my family owns that aren't awd/4wd are my van and my rx7 (both are currently not streetable - they do start and drive, just not inspected/emissioned)

Whichever... I felt more secure in the snow in the Civic with good tires than in the 4x4 pickup... Something about a slightly better weight balance and being low to the ground makes me feel better.

Never again will I question the snow prowess of my friends Nissan Titan. That truck is a veritable beast.

My subie didn't do too badly in the snow either, with the only major problem being the lack of ground clearance. (lift springs coming soon )
