^ SWEET.

Theo (Pele) told me he is going to file the title info for my TII sometime this week. We might see it on the road soon Thats the car the radiator will be going into. I'll probably be trying to find another set of MR2 fans for it

It will be the test mule for the S4 TII PnP MegaSquirt. While I am tuning the maps and driving it around . . . I will be biulding the engine for it out of a spare block I have. Anyone and everyone is invited to observe and learn should you so wish. I already have all the parts.

Before the new engine goes in, car will get:
- CAI w/ cut up front bumper supports
- Weight reduction! Who needs a radio?
- Twin stock oil coolers with ducting and more angle
- FMIC w/ Volvo 940 IC, or FD IC, using two stock BOVs (Before IC, Before TB) and radiator hose as tubing. I am debating going V-mount with a drop vent hood.
- Buckwild's Radiator w/ another set of MR2 fans
- PnP Zeal Engeneering MegaSquirt!
- Walbro 255 fuel pump w/ pump rewire.
- Solid drivetrain bushings
- Possably a proformance suspension, but I'm out of funding for this project and would need to trade for it (unlikely anyone would trade)
- A/C Eliminated
- Homebiult fulltime water/alki injection (The car will NOT be tuned on this, it will just be run as an extra margin of safety)
- possably homebiult IC sprayer
- POSSABLY a drop vent hood

The engine will be something like this:
- Based on the S4 TII block
- Mild/Large streetport
- Full budget rebiuld with viton coolant and oil seals, Mazda 2mm apex seals.
- Coolant passage modifications
- Rotor-edge smoothing
- Oil passage modifications
- I am debating using S4 N/A rotors

Then after the shortblock is complete:
- TO4E .6 A/R Hybrid S5 turbo with ported hotside and wastegate.
- Ported S5 TII manifolds (Switching to the FD UIM later) w/ ported TB
- 1600cc secondary injectors
- I will biuld a full wiring harness, run to the same connectors as a stock ECU, so that we can still test PnP MegaSquirts on this car.
- Possably an aftermarket FPR if somone donates it, or trades for it. Otherwise I'm just out of funding for this project :P

Then I can just swap the longblocks out and be happy and done

I am expecting a bit over 400RWHP on pump gas, and a whole lot more on race gas w/ IC sprayer. I may decide to install a twin stage 75/150 shot of NO2, but not untill the current setup is running and proven. If I go with the NO2, the shot will probably keep increasing till something breaks. Then I'll back it off a little

Note that I never said anything about tires or wheels That all comes later (I want the weakest link during tuning to be the tire, and I want to see if I can do a prolonged burnout at 60MPH :-p)

DISCLAIMER:

I plan to make this car TOO POWERFUL for me to safely street race. I will probably not race anyone on this board unless we are on a track. (Anyone have the hookup for airport runways?) The idea behind the car isnt so much to make it a track car, but to be a proof of concept, and a vehicle to prove the MegaSquits abilities.

-----------

In other news!

I have two S5 N/A intakes, one complete with LIM and one without an LIM (I would need your S4 LIM to portmatch it) and the one without an LIM also needs the VDI actuator. This is for all you S4 N/A guys. And yes, if you are looking for the same kind of power my 'vert puts out, I can port them for you $260 ported and _installed_! Instalation doesnt include setting up the AUX/VDI ports to open at a given RPM, that costs extra (You'd need an air pump ($10 at Wal~Mart) and some hosing, and either some RPM switches, a MegaSquirt, or read the writeup on the forum (I dont remember where the writeup is (enough perentisis for you?)))

Sweet! I can't make it up today, I have too many errands to run :O Good luck! REMEMBER TO START THE CAR AND LET IT IDLE so that you can check for leaks! :O (Don't forget to bring new antifreeze and a flush kit ($6 at AA) for yourself)

wassup guys, need a lil help here on determinng the diameter of the coolant hose that connects the turbo coolant passage to the lower part of the water pump. It looks like 8mm but not sure. Also where can I find this coolant hose? AA only has those thick fuel lines...

I started the car today for the first time in a month after some repairs and it idled rock solid at 750!!! before it would bounce from 1000-1500, and I had pretty bad vacuum leak because the lower intake gasket was blown. So I just need to replace that coolant hose because it is torn
Anyways I think I need a new alternator because the interior and dash lights dim when I do anything...

you can get a stock mazda hose from malloy mazda or mazdatrix.com. I would probably recommend this because it's a pretty sharp bend, and most hose will just kink. and turbo cooling isn't something you really want to play around with.

also you probably do need a new alternator S4 alternators aren't too good lol. you could get an FD alternator (you would have to custom do a pulley, because I don't think silver rotor is selling his kit things anymore) or I have an S5 one sitting around if you want to buy it off me. if you want it, pm me.

Yeh I take cash :p You should call pinapple before I install the intake, cuz I'm going to have the sleaves out anyway to install the intake, might as well do the pinapple. Get about 20 feet, and I'll buy the spare off of you.

I have an FD alt you can buy..comes with the connector too!

But as terms of buying..could I have you're old connector? I'm swapping my S4 back on to my NA, simply because I have no use for the extra amp-age (but much use for the extra money-age xD)

How's $150 sound?
