lol, it'd probably just be a good idea to buy a new water pump altogether.... Relatively inexpensive, and it comes with a new gasket....

Or, if you want to do things the "El Cheapo" way, you can use RTV... Just put it on with about a nickel's thickness, spread evenly, and don't let it get on the inside of the pump or into the thread holes... Things could get nasty with gunky stuff all up in your coolant....

You can use that RTV Just make sure both sides are clean. Also, make sure it's not leaking OUT of the waterpump itself!

Guys-

I've got a Kenwood KDC-X589 head unit for sale. It hasn't been opened, I originally bought it to go into one of my Rx-7's that I had, but I ended up selling the car before I installed the stereo.

There are a couple of really nice features about this besides the fact that it has MP3 playback. I bought this one because it has 3 sets of Gold pre-outs, which is excellent if you plan on splitting off and powering your speakers/subwoofer separately. Even if you don't go this route it is still has an internal amp to drive your speakers. Also, it has an external AUX input, which you can hook up to an iPod or any other alternative input source that uses RCA audio connectors.

These usually go for 250, which is what you'd pay at an overpriced store like Tweeter or some other large chain store. EBay usually has them for 150, I'm asking 140, and I'll install it if you need a hand with it.

Specs: (from Kenwood)
External Media Control
Auto-Slide Detachable Faceplate
Rotary Encoder & Jog Control **** for Easy Operation
14-Segment FL Display (8-Digit, Scroll On/Off selectable)
Maximum Output Power : 50W x 4 (MOSFET Power IC)
ACDrive (Advanced Codec Drive)
AAC/WMA/MP3 Playback
System Q-ex/System E's+
Installer/Backup Memory of Audio Setup
SIRIUS Satellite Radio Ready
HD Radio Ready
External Media Control — iPod Ready
Dual Zone Source & Volume Control
AUX Input with Optional Unit (CA-C1AUX or KCA-S210A)
Gold Plated 3 Preouts with 4V Pre-output Level

i think i might be interested

it says its ipod ready, does that mean you need some adapter or something?

as long as i can hardwire my ipod or it has aux inputs, thatll work. (im assuming it has a cd input slot behind the face plate?)

yes cd input slot behind the face, now it says ipod ready I don't know if it has the controls, i've never used it (that's probably what it means tho). The RCA connectors are on the back, so if you run a cable that converts RCA to an 1/8inch stereo jack, you'll be all set to plug it in. You can buy it from kenwood (expensive) or get one from radio shack (cheap). I have mine from radio shack that i use with an external xm unit.

Besides, I didn't really mean it... I don't idolize the burger. ('Cept for maybe that one pounder. It'd own me if I let it get the chance.)

Though my studies have shown that a good burger has left me more satisfied after sitting down with one than any kinda prayer or anything...

I'll get my **** sorted out with Him sooner or later.

Been on this forum for a while, never noticed the thread until now. So what should I say???

YO!!! I am in Southern Maryland, right off of 301, 228, 210, whichever you want to call it. Maybe if I buy another RX-7 I can contribute to this thread? And I have been to only on meet, the BBQ in Crofton, I went in 04. I don't get out much.
