Still, it'd be a good idea to start and warm it up once a week. Maybe drive it up and down the street once or twice.
I would have to advise against starting it up once a week....

considering it doesn't have an oil cooler or oil

I can probably help you after school tomorrow. JDM engines can't be that different and should be simpler due to less emissions crap.

Thinking of selling the FB to fund S/C Hemi project this winter. For those who have seen it what do you think would be a fair asking price? '85 gsl with 27,000 miles on drivtrain, SE suspension swap, RB intake and Holley, RB exhaust, 9/10 body and interior. Trying to get an idea of what I could expect to get. Thanks!

I am thinking of having a giant MD BBQ/RX-7 Parts Garage Sale come spring.

Whats everyone think?

And when is the next Fudds? I won't start the thread cuz I know everyone wants it at 2 on Sunday and I don't know if I can make it then (I'll prolly always be late, if there at all, as thats when I get out of church)

Hey Saheed, are you going to have your car inside the garage, or we gonna get rained on? :p

I think a BBQ is a great idea. I wanted to have another one this year but work got in the way.

If you had told me you couldn't make 2pm Sunday I would have changed Fudd's. When do you want it to be?

wow from that description of the motor.. the only thing limiting rpm is the ability of an ignition system to keep up. all seals would be helped out by centrifical force and always pushing out to the housing wall..

Rx9 i want one spins to 20k with no vibrations ha!

Jason, could you take a look at my car this Friday or Saturday? I'm located in Columbia and was referred by Erik. There's a problem with the brakes.

Nah, I'm not free then, spending Thanksgiving with my family. Though when I am free next week, could you drive it out or have it towed to the garage? I've got to take a look at it there before I can really give you an accurate estimate.

It'll be a bit more up front if you want me to drive all the way out there. :p

I don't know if many guys would be able to meet up every other week, but I try to do something with friends about that often so I don't feel like I work ALL THE TIME (which I pretty much do). Where do you live? We can hang out over a beer or a Pepsi watching a game or playing keno at a bar, or hell, I have Direct TV in my garage

anyone looking to buy a 87 silver t2. Completely stock except a boost guage, oil pressure guage, and a dual guage window pod. I drove it around last night and the clutch seems to be slipping a little under full boost. Thats probably why their is a new clutch kit in the hatch. hahahah. Anyways I am looking to get about $2300 cash for it. And thats firm. If I don't sell it local I might just throw it on ebay and start the bid at 2500.

Anyone on here want to help me out? I need to weld bungs for wideband O2 sensors into 2 downpipes... one on my ae86, and one for the GXL.

I don't have a welder... I'd like to just weld it myself using someone's tig welder, but if someone here has a welder and doesn't want to let anyone use it, I could pay to let whoever weld it for me.

BTW, kids.... Now that the mod team has gotten rid of a "little problem" on the site, we're now ready to look for new posters to join and share info or just BS....

It's like the Lounge here, only way more fun...
