Well, first off, you gotta describe the symptoms, is it internal (smokeing, or just loosing oil)
or external? (Leaves spots under the car)

It's actually easier in a car (at least one that is capable of it). Bikes will slide around turns the same way a car will, but it's harder to do. And when a car loses grip, you kinda feel it coming and are prepared for it. You REALLY have to know a bike's limits to feel the tires getting ready to lose grip, and to be willing to push past that point.

Anyone want to bring me some donuts for breakfast?

Whats the top speed in those old corollas I see running around. A buddy on mine has one that works at pepboys and he keeps telling me how fast it is. He might be smoking to much but you never know

I mean, the name "Ford" has become synonymous with "Recall" for quite some time.

And just because they dont recall it doesnt mean it's not crap! It just means that its not life threataning! I mean, most of their cars have massive flaws that they try and cover up (My favorite being the heads on the Triton engines, being that only four threads hold each sparkplug, they have issues with the plugs blasting out of the head. It's a $3000 to $5000 repair, but Ford refuses to cover it based on the fact that "Spark Plugs arent covered under Warentee")

And do you even know anyone who's owned a Ford Taurus where EVERY SINGLE THING HASNT BROKEN? (not counting the SHO, for some reason, a few of them seem to run OK)
Ford spends time and effort designing a few of their vehicles...

Their trucks... (NOT including the Ranger)
Mustang - Because it's their flagship car
Focus - Because people expect it to be ranked up with the Civics and Corollas

Everything else is outsourced or built by monkeys with cerebral palsy.

I wouldn't say my corolla is "fast" in any meaning of the word, it's pretty zippy, seeing as how it only wieghs 2200 lbs. but 90hp only goes so far...

I've burried the speedo past 110 though

This is true. However, the Focus has had crazy recalls on it.

They're quite slow!

Who cares about top speed, I'm afraid to take them past 110 :-p They're kinda zippy based on the fact they dont weigh anything, but as Myk said, 90HP only goes so far :p

The only one of the AE92s that was in the US that was relitively 'quick' (not really fast) was the supercharged one, or the GT-S, that had an MR2 engine (4AGE) with a really closely geared transmission.

Depends on the engine... the original 4age was good for about 120....

the 20 valve I'm putting in should be good for about 135-140 tops...

In other news, I took a first shot at the plug 'n play megasquirt for the S4's last night... and found out just how bad the factory harness is. It's no wonder tofuball's gxl doesn't run anymore... it has no power grounds.... and it also has a possible short on the tps vref line and/or the signal lines to the ignitors.....

We're going to have to fix those problems at least to get it running

I'm going to try to fix whatever problems it has and get it running right on the stock ECU again for inspection before I start actually driving it around with the MS in it.

oh and I just ordered my new 4 inch exhaust system from jegs. I got a 4 inch in/out 14' round for the rear, 14' 4 inch in/out oval for the mid pipe and 2 4 inch 4' straights. Now I still need a few bends and I will let PFS build me the 4 inch DP. I am almost ready to throw down some serious power

4 1000 CC injectors will make it VERY hard to tune idle/off boost....

I'd say stick to stock primaries and go for the 1600cc secondaries....

Well, it's already got a good S4 turbo on it. Is the JSPEC 89 turbo really that different?

I know, but I dont like the limitations of running dual table code that you mentioned to me.

Why not just buy one big 4000cc injector? (Mmm, tune idle with THAT! HA!)

Who said anything about dual table? You can tune staged injection with small primaries and big secondaries... there's a scale factor that you input into the MS that tells it how much bigger the secondaries are compared to the primaries....
