far to restrictive. Me and landers cut a RB exhaust up and it had more packed wool inside on one side of the duels than I would want ever in my system, no less another side. 80's design that has never changed or improved because RB does not give a **** anymore.
Joey,
Love the vette.
I might be adding a new member to the family here shortly aswell. A friend is selling his BMW 850i. I might have to buy this to match my 7 series. I also think I might need a little V12 power to play around with.

If I was running your setup, I'd never use it, of course I would be less concerned with how it sounded.

So I replaced the DP and finished up installing the stock exhaust w/ Borla catback on the TII.
I ran out of muffler mud so I used JB weld. I wonder how that is going to turn out
The car is INSANELY quiet now. It's disturbing.
It is quieter then my N/A ever was.
It is interesting to reflect: I barely ever see RX-7s without a performance exhaust, or some falling apart 20 year old stock exhaust :P
I don't like how I can't hear the turbo spool now :P

I've never had a car loan and only have a 3000 credit card contributing to my credit score and Wells Fargo was more than happy to give me $240K
Ain't going to college anymore and I ain't planning on retiring any time soon, so Roth IRA, old 401K, and college fund get turned into domicile.

besides, i need to get rid of the corolla, and i cannot afford to float the dollar amount without the loan. most of the loan will be paid off once the corolla is sold...and the remainder will disappear before the end of the year.
furthermore...to counter the "i've never bought a car that cost more than $1k before" statement - i have attempted the same route, and found more problems with vehicles with low dollar amounts(generally speaking) than i have with newer vehicles. i can't afford, nor do i have the energy, to constantly repair my daily driven vehicle. i simply can't justify getting something that already has a high potential for giving me problems.
on top of that, this vehicle covers all my wants. it has a GOOD suspension(slightly stock...but not quite), already has headers/exhaust, a manual, and AWD. it's preventing me from purchasing a hoopty of a truck for the winter, and it's stopping me from wanting to throw the corolla off a cliff every time i get in it. i've learned to HATE the corolla - why would i keep a car i hate, when i can get a vehicle i know i'll enjoy?
again - it's what works for me.

EDIT: nvm, you said it's just an i, which means it's one of the older ones, but i'm sure it's still the same deal.

I know what you mean about having to constantly repair the DD.
I bought a jerp cherokee in january for 4k, it's awesome. All it needed was a new radiator and I DD it all the time. It's decent on gas, and I can run **** over that I can't in the 7, and it's got full time 4wd, which is better then awd cause it's selectable
It's also cool cause I can fit 5 people in it, and luggage or camping gear if I want to take a weekend in the sticks.
that suby is nice tho, and I'm definately jealous!
