In fact, I'm so discouraged by the massive cost of owning a car, I want to sell all my RX-7s except for the 'vert.

Or you could just start a business with some friends and make enough money that you don't have to move

Yes this is a very expensive area to live in. You need to have a security clearance to work at most companies in this area because of all the work done with the DOD. Best way to get a basic Secret clearance so you can even get a job interview is take a part time job as a security guard at night. Last I knew they paided 15-18 dollars a hour. Thats more than a few of you make in your day job. Moral of the story is jobs that require a clearance pay more so bust your *** to get a clearance so you can start making the big bucks.

Tofu why not just buy that VW Fox.. ha ha ha.. or get a geo metro. 3 cyl.

there is a gas strike today... i was told by a few of my friends.. so i'm filling up tomorrow.. i hope gas goes down tomorrow.. because i'm low on fuel.. if i had mega squirt my water would be my gas for the next 2 days.. :-D..

Now i have a question.. would it be best investment to buy dual set up for mega squirt or just buy the single for now and wait to upgrade to dual set up?? Even though there is a N/A set up that they have.. would it be best to just get the single instead of the N/A set up??

And i want to see a 400+ powered N/A.. turbos take to long to spoil up..

Do you mean a twin-turbo setup as opposed to a single turbo?

I'd suggest you just get a single turbo, and learn to live with the lag... It's a lot more simple than a twin-turbo setup.

I'm not sure you're going to find an NA rotary making 400+ hp... not unless they somehow managed to get some SERIOUSLY high revs out of it... well at least I don't think you'll see this on a 13B...

Does anyone have numbers for what an NA 13b can do with the different types of port jobs you can do?

I would imagine you could get a lot of power with a good port job, and hardened stationary gears, and some good apex seals so you can rev really high... but what do I know?

Ok.. that helps explain why they say dual set up and single set up.. and N/A set up.. I truely dont know what i was thinking when i looked at the set ups. i'll just go with the N/A set up since i dont have a turbo.. and not planning on getting on..

If you're asking if it's possible to hit 400HP on an N/A drivetrain....

No, it's not... At the least case, you'd need a a pretty hardcore porting job, reworked internals, and parts from a T2 (tranny, driveshaft, differential, etc.) to piece together a reliable car with those kinds of numbers....

400 on a regular N/A would be nice to see, if only to bet how long it takes for it to fall apart entirely....

water/meth injection combined with 22lbs of boost = 1 bad *** record setting truck. Now I can't wait to see what a rotary can throw down with this same setup.

Thought I heard something on Elliot this morning about all the truckers not just going on strike, but using their trucks to block all the exits on the beltway, 270, 95, etc. because of gas prices. But I wasn't really awake. Anyone else hear anything like that?

it gets about 28 on highway on a full tank and 25 or so in the city
When i reset the dial to zero and see how far i can go from a full tank to about when the gas light comes on it about 337 miles or so, divide that by 13.6 gallons and u get ur Gas mileage per gallon....tooo lazy to do the math..... =)
