Del sol is FIXED!!!! can I get an AHMEN!!!

I'm waiting for the bumper to get here and bam it is DONE!
So on that note, first person to come to me with $3100 or more takes it all.

1997 Del sol (white on black)
Konig special edition black rims 16"
3 Enkei 16"
and stock 13" alumis
Magnaflow exhaust
Stock and aftermarket tail lights
Clear corner lights

And alot of other **** I can't think of right now.

Come on people! You have to know someone! 43+ miles to the galon!!! Something no one on this forum has seen in awhile unless you own a hybrid or a TDI.

xxx-xxx-xxxx and feel free to prank call Xony ;-)

Damn I checked out water injection last night and the kit I want is $657 shipped. I am going for the dual stage/dual angled nozzle setup. As a plus around town driving will save about 5-7mpg with moderate driving. Weew it will pay for itself in no time.....

Yes I still want the original one. I wouldn't have you do all that work for me and then cancel out on you. Thats just wrong. But I do have an interest in a V3 board though but I'm not asking for you to make any moves on that any time soon. That will be after I pick up the original MS, which I'm hoping will be in about 2 weeks (pay day).

I found out that the front clip arrived on friday so I went to check it out last night and it's being delivered to me this morning. It WAS a white fd and is indeed RHD. I haven't looked under the hood yet since the clip is shrink wrapped but when it gets to me I'll take pics and post em.

For those who have already PM'd me wanting parts from the clip that I wont be using, I'll let you know what's available when I'm done with it which should be by this weekend.

I also may be selling some of the parts from my old FD engine like the turbos (which are still within spec), oil coolers, ABS, etc.

Alright. Just wanted to make sure.

The V3 board takes a lot longer to build and has yet to be tested on many cars, but its design is a lot better. I plan on using a v3 in my ae86.

Off Topic:
I might be interested in buying a stock S4 or S5 7 from someone too, as long as it's fully stock and nothing is broken.

Well is stock for the most part, it has an e-fan (but i still have the clutch fan), and kyb's (not the adjustables). How much you looking to spend? I'm VERY flexible. I need to buy a pickup and have no room for this car. Gotta move it out as soon as I can.

I'll trade RX-7s or RX-7 parts for it (Stock or aftermarket, or megasquirt in nature), but I dont have any cash :p

And I dont need the aftermarket tails and rims etc etc so that might shave a bit off the price:p

I want a reliable daily that gets more MPG then the GXL . . .

ON ANOTHER NOTE

When do you want to get your transmission? I can transport it to my house late late tonight if you want. I just need to know if and when you're gonna grab it :p

I would be interested in buying the GXL so that Tofuball can buy that Del Sol.

Ken
Sounds like a plan to me!

haha, well, we'll see man, gotta check my funds... Whoever is selling their cars PM me (or tell me in person) what you want and I'll see if I can afford it.

Oh, and jason, I said "NOTHING IS BROKEN."

Your GXL doesn't run correctly right now, and that counts as broken

Well, that's assuming I can figure out what's wrong. I'm hoping it's not wiring or anything like that.

I'm thinking it might be a sensor problem or something.

Dude, Don't tune FOR water injection, whatever you do. You will be sorry when your water system breaks in the middle of a high-speed run and you death-ping.

That can be said of any component in a turbo system. Why my kit is so expensive is that I got every add on to let you know your system has failed hopefully before its to late. If not you just rebuild. No big deal. Plus its not a daily driver. When I drive it I plan on running 20lbs and when I want to lay the smack down I will run 30lbs with a change of a map. I would bet my fuel system fails before a water injection unit fails. Water injection is the future.

Actually, water injection has been the future for about 60 years.

My favorite example is the experimental car that Saab was running.

Had a water tank as big as its fuel tank. Early sixties, if I recall correctly.

Worst case scenario, megasquirt. Mechanically it is in fantastic shape.

BTW: When you're at home, could you grab the optima yellowtop battery from the basement that was next to the charger?

And possably grab the charger too?

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, but part of the reason I want a fully stock, working car is because I want to use it to test plug 'n play megasquirts that I build into stock ECU cases. I don't want to megasquirt it until we know what's wrong.

I meant the "future" for us crazy guys who want to run extreme amounts of power out of a car that was never intended to make that much power. Water injection makes your car streetable again. Having to drive around on race gas sucks. Plus need I mention the cooling gains you get with water.

So with the water injection you saying we would need to get an extra tank to put water in? or cant we just cut the fuel tank in half and use part of it for water?? i know we may need to add another sensor to calculate how much water is left and everything..

yes my kit comes with (2) 1 liter tanks. You can run water in both or water in one and meth in the other.

I wouldn't go cutting the gas tank in half but you can....

Bukwild.. for the injection and mechanical work.. would you need to upgrade the cpu with the 3v board in order for it to work.. or you can run the water injection w/o changeing anything?

Bukwild isn't running megasquirt, he's running a haltech unit.

You can run water injection with the megasquirt v2.2 board and the msns-extra daughtercard that error* is making.

I might be making these a part of the plug-n-play idea once I get time.
