Maryland guys!
I wouldn't mind a cf radio surround so that I can use a honda s2000 style radio face-cover. (I'm going to be modifying my radio surround anyways, just would look cool in cf.
Well comming off the topic of mom's who suck...
My power ant isn't werking :-( I have never had a car with werking radio...just cd. So its nothing new, but it would be nice to have seeing as how the ant werks. but when I connect the right wire for the ant to the power I get a wierd clicking noise from right front speaker. I narrowed the clicking down to a weird black relay looking thing inside the speaker box.

I researched alittel more into this. So maybe some one electrically inclined can help.
Apparently you have to take the positive wire that aftermarket headunits provide for a remote whatever and turn it into a negative in order to get the power ant up and down.
I purchased a SPDT relay from radio shack. But its not like it was in the diagrams here on the forums. so. I'll kinda give you a out line of what my relay looks like.

*I'll include the picture I was going from with the relay.

Use Normally open and Common. One goes to antenna trigger, one goes to ground, again, doesn't matter which is which..
When radio is on, coil gets energy. This closes the contacts adn sends the ground to the antenna. Antenna goes up...
Badda bing, badda boom.
Hope that relay is 12 Volt coil...
hmmm....
well this is an odd time indeed. I think I might "consider" selling my FC. Its a 87 NA and will come with:
-chasis, new radio (with audiobahn 10" metal bowl sub)
-set of rims
-spare motor (possibly)
-rebuilt tranny
-a few extras depending on price.
I'm not sure about this but if I can get offers above 2300 I will definately do it... about 99.9% sure at least.
:-/ feeling uneasy.

A piston engine one will work in lieu of the thousand dollar (No exageration there.) rotary engine tester.
Compression test to be done when the engine is warm. (Be wary or owners "prewarming" cars up for you. Hard starting when cold indicates compression problems.)
Remove the Fuel injection fuse and pop out the lower spark plug on one rotor. Have some one crank it as you hold down the release button on the tester. You should see 3 even pulses in a row. Anything above 90PSI is good. Replace the spark plug and try again on the other rotor.

EDIT: and btw... fuel injection fuse = EGI fuse(s)
S4's have 2, S5s have 1 they're on the driver's side of the engine bay near the strut tower.
