I'm pretty sure jason does. I'm pretty sure ha has some of my old exhaust, but I'm a turbo so it wouldn't really fit... if anything you could just take the exhaust off one of his parts cars.

Also, some of the delay on his car is my fault, and some of it is just due to bad luck. Like the first time we tried to start the car, I had a known-bad firmware on the megasquirt, second time, we kept trying to start it for hours, only to find out that somehow one of the leading spark plugs wasn't connected, and that he was running trailing plugs on the leading side, switch the plugs and make sure they're hooked up, and it almost starts... Third time, we got it started with the ignition module in limp mode, and found a wiring error on my part... and then found out that I needed to modify the tach-in circuit on the megasquirt to trigger on the trailing edge of the tach pulse instead of the leading edge... all that before we finally got ignition working right.
So anyway, This ignition setup is only temporary until the code on megasquirt for controlling the stock ignition with leading/trailing and configurable split is finalized.

and my ECU is probably fried and I don't feel like dealing with it anymore. would a mega squirt work ok on a turbo? I'm not trying to blow up my fresh mazda rebiuld

Also, I'd highly recommend a wideband O2 setup, that'll make tuning easier. When we built jason's techedge, it was the cheapest decent option available, but now innovate sells the lc-1 (which is out of stock until next month) for $200 with a sensor and a bung. That's the same price roughly that jason paid for the techedge, and we had to solder that together.

. I'm not really planning to go above 20 psi any time soon.. I'll probably want the megasquirt tuned for like 10. and maybe another map for fuel economy.

If the tuner (you, me, whoever) does a good job, you don't need separate maps for economy... you just tune the off-boost areas to be leaner, and make sure you are careful with ignition advance, and tune the on-boost areas as rich as needed, and again, be careful with ignition advance.
EDIT: you may also want to add water injection to help prevent detonation on boost, and to let you run super lean off boost (although the code in megasquirt only works for the on-boost application as of right now).

idunno, I've never done it :-P Jason plans on doing it however... for megasquirt, it'd be the cost of the following components from this page:
http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/waterinj.html
It prolly wouldn't be necessary for 10 psi, but it'd be cool :-P

Water injection anywone? http://www.coolingmist.com/pagedispl...n=set&res=1024
Thought I'd throw that out there. And yeah, you and me myk, Turbo megasquirts!
EDIT: I promise not to post the picture again!

but I'm deffinitly going to need a lot of ken's help, cause he's a megasquirt god... I'll probably try to pull a jason if that's ok with ken
><
Talked to the guys at coolingmist they said the Dual Stage system is best, water injections works that it only sprays water/methanol into when your boosting, it can add up to 20 horsepower, it constantly cleans your engine, and basically its awesome, it can help prevent detonation! it pwnz! it makes your engine last longer too I hear!
BUT WHATEVER YOU DO! I recc not tuning with the water injection on, first off you may run out of fuel in the water injection tank, and tuning without that, isnt really reccomended! You could be driving for 15hours, and forget to fill up your water injection tank, and an off tune, that would suck!

I can't get a pic to post on this forum. Anyway Formula7racing's first carbon fiber prototype is done. I will test fit it this weekend on the vert at Dan's shop. Here is a link to the photo. Drool bitches.....

whats that save you...like a quarter of a pound?
not for weight for looks. I am trying to get a better interior appearance setup. I plan to move to body kits later on but for now I am concentrating on the inside. All 2nd gen parts are starting to break and get harder to find. Not to mention everything I will sell will be 3D 2x2 twill and 4x4 twill, which is what Ferrari uses so its all show winning quality
