Hahaha, I used to slide my FC all the time at my local track back in PA for the past couple years so no issues "being a *****" and not drifting it . Maybe next season I'll bring it out to some Drift Nirvana events. But I got a media pass for it this year, so I'll be doing photos and maybe some GoPro footage. Also want to hang with my friends that are coming down for it.

If I had any sort of plan on when I was going then I'd try to work it out, but at the moment there is no plan haha.

Since you're local, are you going to help me with my build?

also, in case you guys didn't see this thread of mine:
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...hoses-1052564/
i did actually figure out that i now have the EGR routed properly.
still currently trying to figure out what the hell is up with this nonsense. a ton of this stuff is just...straight wrong.
also, i just ordered a new pulsation damper because i think the banjo bolt is causing problems.
if i can get the car to stop leaking fuel everywhere i'll drive it to someone's house who has a na s4 and just hose-by-hose it...

Also, if you need an EGR blockoff plate for an S4, I've got one here you can have for free.
Edit: You're emissions exempt, right? Why not just remove all of it except for the BAC valve?

yeah i've got the same pdf that everyone has, i used to actually have a paper copy too but it got ruined. the myriad diagrams are all...not useless per se...but not very effing helpful in many instances, not to mention not even consistent.
i probably will eventually just yank all of the emissions since its registered as an antique now and doesnt need it, but for right now i'm just trying ot get her back to square 1 so i can work from there. i mean, even the two hoses coming out of the thermowax are in the wrong spot right now. i don't like removing stuff that i don't understand you know what i mean?

this build is sort of a now-or-never deal with my wife, and i haven't had a lot of hours to put into it to fix things which is making it go from slow to slower, which is making her start thinking it would be better for me to sell the car. i haven't been able to put it on the street yet, and i need to be able to do that really soon. like...really, really soon. once i can show her that i can drive the damned thing, i can start hoarding parts for weekend jobs (like suspension, blocking off a bunch of useless crap like sub-0 start, etc..).

On another note, I finally bought. Heater for my garage. Got a good deal on a 23k BTU kerosene heater. Now I just have to get a new seal for the bottom of the door and I'll be cooking!

Never heard of them or their work. Could be good, could be bad. I'd ask the guy about his experience and where he got his technical knowledge from. Seems like a small shop which can be a good or bad thing. They do seem to have really reasonable prices. But, if anything goes wrong, or they are in over their head, you'll be stuck in a hard legal battle and get nothing back out of them except your non-running car.
Tread carefully, and let us know if they are worthwhile.
