DC Area thread - The District, NoVa, Maryland
The closest shop in the area I know of is FTW, I'm not sure if they're still open or not. It was started up by some Mazda techs with rotary backgrounds a few years ago. Here is a link to the FB page:

Let me know if they're still open, I'm curious.
Video Link: http://www.amazon.com/STARTER-MOTOR-M1T70881A-M1T70881-SR296X/dp/B007CAAR68 Left is +12v in Top is "tab" or +12v signal (even though I say signal it does draw an appreciable amount of current) right - in general there is no reason to touch this stud. The left is hidden by the protective rubber boot. IIRC if you can get under your car this shouldn't be a problem. Good luck.
Whats up guys! Been out for a while. Mainly since no more 7
Been looking here and there for another FB. Just cant seem to find one for a steal yet. I will have another 7! Im still rolling around in my Eagle. See every now and then a FD here and there. Although I keep seeing a Black FD in Parkville all the time

It's used for a couple of things, in the automotive world, is used on mechanical fluid gauges, in order to isolate the cabin from engine fluids, like fuel and oil.
Couple of pics of popular automotive gauge isolators:

I want to test one not for its fluid isolation, but its possible dampening capabilities. Don't want to spend over $75 for a new one, if its not going to "damper" the fluid.

They sound like a great idea, but I obviously don't have one
.
On another note, does anyone have a bead roller, or know someone who does?
I blew the same charge pipe coupling apart twice on the way home today. I need to get some T-bolts to replace the worm gear clamps and the pipes at the coupling were cut and are missing the bead.
I know Harbor Freight sells one, but I've read it's not that great.

I made a super ghetto bead tool using these instructions. You're welcomed to use it if you want, I've had no problems with the results.
Thanks for the tip too, Mike. Unfortunately I still don't have the means to use my welder :P
Not that I know of, he only does parts.
